We’ll be finding out soon enough how difficult he would be to replace.

Keepers by nature have to have a huge presence and more so than most other positions.

We’ve not had a better keeper than Hart for around 12 years and we’ve had some amount of success since he signed.

Forster was better for us when he was here. Made more ‘big’ saves that Hart has. Dreadful with the ball at his massive feet admittedly.

Forster left us back in 2011.

He then came back on loan for another season before signing for us permanently in 2012. He stayed with us for 2 years, and then came back in 2019 for a season on loan.

He was excellent in 2019/20 as well, but I know you mean apart from him.

Gordon had his moments, but I don’t think he’d flourish in this team. Bain, Barkas, De Vries, Hazard etc were nowhere near Hart.

How many more trophies do Celtic need to win to be the most successful team in the World..?

Aye, we’re getting to a position of decent strength in depth in most areas of the squad … bar keeper, and probably a bit of a drop off in both FB positions as well. Squad’s shaping up well though.

I thought Johnston had his best game so far yesterday. Hopefully keep improving.
When he got the yellow card I thought he was going to go all ice hockey enforcer on the schitebag.

The guy's solid, athletic, hard and can play a bit.
I think he likes the rough stuff btw, just hope he's not the wee red shaking guy from FIFA '98.
