Our home form is pretty decent in the league but you just can't predict anything with us at the moment.
Wolves having won the league game 3-0 but then slipped to 2 FA Cup defeats.
----------
Not to be a pedant, but surely it was one draw and one defeat for Wolves v Liverpool in the FA Cup.
I'm hoping for a thrilling 3-4 win to Wolves, with a Salah hat-trick for Liverpool (FPL triple-captain).
Bloody hell, this has come around quickly. Hopefully, Herr Klopp will continue to play the hapless Matip again, and we'll be able to grab a couple of goals. The thing that bothers me, though, is that it's inevitable that Jota will get his first goal after his injury comeback against us.
Matip is the least of our worries at the moment
Hopefully this will see the return of Konate to our starting 11 who is a much better defender.
Will.u take the presents we will no doubt give out. You did last time with Ali I think. Palace dodnt want them on Saturday.
Have to be winning this game being at home and going into the big one at the weekend. Just to get a bit of confidence again.

Hope that this isn't when Liverpool make us pay for the ole's.

Thought Liverpool were really poor at Palace and are clearly struggling for form in defence, midfield and attack. Maybe they will be a lot better at Anfield and getting the first goal in this one might give them a lift. But Wolves will give them a run for their money for sure
Liverpool evidently struggling for form in defence with three clean sheets in their last three Premier League matches.
Should be a real test for them against a team with one of the finest front lines in the division. §§
We've won 14 of the last 16 games where we scored first, it's so key to us.
You'll 100% get at least two really good chances though, it's just whether you can take them again.
Another i shall miss. 5am again here i think. Would be happy with a point.
Tomorrow’s game isn’t being televised live, and for quite a bizarre reason. The match was originally scheduled to be played at 3pm on a Saturday. Games played at that time cannot be shown live in the uk. And that restriction still applies to the game even though it is now being played on a Wednesday evening
Not sure on this one. Unlikely we'll get anything at Anfield, but we have potential to give anyone a run for their money since Julen took over. Hopefully this is one of those games where the press works well and we are a handful.
I think Cunha will be a big miss though. We definitely struggled to hold the ball on Friday once he went off and our pressing from the front was less effective too. I think we might see Moutinho come into the team as an attacking midfielder again to replace him, which I'm hoping won't happen as it nevers seems to be effective.
As Liverpool will get a fair amount of possession I think this game is set up to use Adama for the breakaways and to keep Andy Robertson or Trent Alexandra-Arnold on the back foot
I don't necesarily agree with that. When we have done well against Liverpool in recent games, we have pressed well and pounced on the opportunities that has given us.
Traore isn't the best at pressing and closing down space. If we allow Liverpool to control possession and rely on Adama breakaways, I think Liverpool win comfortably.
Personally, I'd be tempted to play RAN left wing to press and give Bueno a bit of support. Then it depends whether we play three in midfield or have someone supporting Jimenez, as to whether I'd play Sarabia on the right or centrally.
Just seen that Cunha's injury isn't serious and they'll make a decision on him tomorrow. Great news.
Tomorrow will probably be too soon for him, but hopefully we'll have him back for the weekend.

That's so unfair. Fans who use illegal streams, not that I ever would , being penalised.
Should be an interesting game. I think we will set up with Ait-Nouri on the left of a midfield four (sorry cinci) and play Sarabia as an inverted right winger (sorry wolfie). I would keep Traore on the bench to use as an impact sub (sorry Spanner) and I wouldn't stop at the burger van on the way to the ground (sorry Wolfgang)

When I find out who did it, their fecking years are numbered!
None of our goals at Molineux when we thrashed Liverpool came through pressing. First was a ball through the defence by Sarabia, second was from a dead ball and the third a breakaway between Adama and Neves. Liverpool dominated possession and had more shots than us but we passed our way through their ageing midfield and knocked balls behind their full backs who tend to over commit. I think that’s the style to adopt tomorrow. Hope we don’t set up as 451 because I don’t think it’s in Raul’s game to play as a lone striker nowadays
The third goal came from us pressing and Moutinho winning the ball back. Then it was a quick breakaway, but we were 2-0 up then and Liverpool were pushing for a way back into the game.
First half of that game, we pressed and forced errors from Liverpool. This allowed us to play more in their half and have chances to get the ball in the box. We had a few chances from it before the first goal. The free kick for the second goal was caused by us pressing to win it back and Semedo being fouled. We could have had a third when Nunes forced an error from Matip from pressing.
You only have to watch the first few minutes of these highlights to see how much impact our pressing and not allowing Liverpool to settle had:

I hope that we play like that again and don't sit back hoping for a breakaway with Traore.
I watched the whole game. Liverpool had nearly 60% possession, they had almost twice as many shots as us. We beat them not by pressing or stopping them controlling possession, but by passing through their midfield and getting in behind their full backs. We were better on the ball than they were
