It is about time we stopped employing kids as doctors, and I am fully behind this strike. Doogie Howser has a lot to answer for.

They have my full support.

It has not been very well publicised/disseminated, perhaps intentionally by the government so as to not afford them a platform and keep public interest down?

They have my full backing

Have my support but like teachers, rail services and nurses the government won't listen

Fully behind them.

MP's now on 84k plus expenses and apparently want another rise. 😂😂😂

Imagine being so useless at your job earning £84k plus much more in expenses and still not being happy when actual junior doctors who are saving lives are making less than £40k when they first start. That's less than tube drivers in Laaandon make.

Go Doctors indeed. My wife in high up in Nursing and is going to have an incredibly challenging few days but she and her colleagues back these strikes unanimously.

Interesting, I did not think there would be huge public support (admittedly my source thus far as been the Daily Mail comments section...)

They have my 100% support, as do all public sector strikers

Ultimately however, I think it's going to be a game of chicken and this government will not budge and at time of increased cost of living, most junior doctors will not be able to afford to prolong strike action.

25% is an opening gambit, will probably settle for 16/17% which is still below inflation.

Like the rest of us, Junior Doctors pay and living standards are going to crater here. No point in fighting it at this point,

We have lived beyond our means for fifty years now, time to pay the bill outstanding.

Full support, as with all other workers striking for better conditions, terms & pay.

They are a disgrace. I’d cost the HoP and have it done over video conference. No second homes no expensive free booze and 5 star cuisine. They can fack off.

I wouldn't feel that bad about it if they were doing a good job. But the country is in crisis and has been for a good few years now. The government are a shambles and the opposition not much better but they are the lesser of two evils.

We deserve better in this country than these two outdated and totally distorted parties.

When Russia is showing stronger growth than the UK despite being at War and everyone hates them bar China then it is time to shut up and get on with your job.

How are HM Opposition MPs partly responsible for the mess the Government have made of things?

They're not but they are partly responsible for why we ended up getting the Tories back in the first place.

I vote labour and always have. I'd probably vote Green if it wasn't a wasted vote. The way out system works effectively means in a lot of seats you have to vote tactically otherwise you're just helping the party you hate the most. It's a bizarre system we have.

ITV should bring back The Young Doctors while we're on the subject.

Aussie drama at its best.

World of difference between the UK and Australia in terms of how doctors are treated, paid and respected.
