Podence charged with spitting. As I said at the time, it did look as if he had, but later I thought he was just blowing the Forest player a kiss. Maybe not.
Normal sanction if he is found guilty is a 6 match ban, which he will deserve.

I thought he blew at him to be honest. To infer that Johnson would go down if someone did that. Quite hypocritical of Podence to do that though.
It was a stupid thing to do even if that was the case and I wouldn't be surprised if he got banned, but if you watch the replays there is no evidence of any spit leaving his lips; so surely it will be difficult to ban him if he claims he was doing something else.

Johnson did go to wipe his face straight away though and did react as though spat at but didn't make a song and dance.
Johnson doesn't seem like the type of player who wouldn't make a song and dance about it if he did spit.
