I think he's a very good defender and will do well under a proper manager.
I think you could stick prime Maldini in our current setup and he'd look a clown.
Hasn’t been great but is clearly our best CB. If we had better options there he would’ve been dropped by now.
Under a front footed Manager he can be excellent.
I remember when Hengy said he was in the top 3 CB's in the league lol

Difficult to judge - I mean he just won the World Cup and the Copa, allegedly Messi reckons he is the nuts as well.
Spurs just have an awful defence all round.

He lacks direction - he needs a senior player chatting to him all game, correcting his positioning. The raw attributes are there but the mental side of the game like so many players at our club is non existent.
Play a back 3 with Toby and Jan next to him and he would be the nuts

Truly shocking. One of the worst defensive records in the league, yet this clown is put on a pedestal. I’ll concede that he has all of the attributes to be a top defender, but he’s certainly not there yet, nowhere near in fact.
