Thought it was funny Klopp saying Ryan Mason should worry about his own team instead of seeking to condemn Jota, this from a bloke who pulled a hamstring in his desperation to abuse an official
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True. Klopp is a pretty horrendous human being when it comes to touchline behaviour in general though. His ostrich impression I'm sure impressed Nigel Pearson but his intimidation of officials is relentless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He then followed it up after the game by basically accusing the ref of having it in for him and his team, I honestly don’t know how he gets away with it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignoring the Jota tackle (which I think was borderline yellow) did he comment on Konate wanting to swap shirts in the penalty area before full time?

I'm struggling to see how Herr Jurgen thought decisions in that game went against his team.

Unless, of course, he was just trying to make sure future decisions would go in favour of his team...

This has been seriously refuted by PGMOL and I hope they ban Klopp from touchline for a year.

Highlight of the game was seeing Klopp pull his hamstring while acting like a fool on the sideline!

I agree with you on that. I was surprised the guys in the studio thought the Jota clumsiness was more worthy of a red than Skipp jumping into a tackle on Diaz.

But it's a matter of opinion I guess

Well, it’s possibly to kick someone with a high foot and for it to be adjudged as not a red card offence, yes.

That hasn’t changed.

No Winston, studs up is always a red card wherever it is. Don't you know the rules?

If our useless bunch of incompetent idiots we call our defenders hadn’t let three goals in after 15 minutes AGAIN, then it wouldn’t of mattered.

If it was the other way, Skipp would have been sent off - no doubt by the same ref.
=====
Skipp got away with nearly breaking Diaz's leg so this is bullsheet.

How do you go for a high ball without showing studs? Studs up doesn't apply in high boot because studs are always up when the ball is high in the air.

High boot isn't always a red card. If he'd been sent off it would have been ok and if only a yellow then also ok.

Law 12 says nothing about a 'high boot' either but you stated t can be argued that it's always dangerous.

By your own logic since law 12 also says nothing about what cards should be awarded for 'high boot' it can be argued that it is always red.

You already undermined yourself on this one.

Your attempts at trolling have failed because you’ve shown that you’re too stupid to understand a basic point.

Go back to troll school and try again… it doesn’t really work if your target starts laughing at what you said.

I'll just stick to the debate rather than getting into another one of the flame wars that you so dearly love and state what you wrote here again so everyone can see

'It can be argued that a high boot is always dangerous'

There is no definition of a high boot in law 12, nor what cards should be awarded. Therefore if you can argue that a high boot is always dangerous you can argue that a red card should always be awarded.

Yep, and sadly too few people recognise that it’s possible for there to be more than one valid opinion regarding incidents on the pitch.

Particularly when it comes to serious foul play.

How do you challenge for a high ball without showing studs?

I guess you try and head the ball, like Skipp.

What I don't understand is if that tackle catches him half way up the shin then it's a red, all day. It's way higher and cuts his forehead.

Lindlelof should have got a 2nd yellow vs Spurs on Thursday . Easy easy yellow but the ref bottled that one too.

The traditional biggest clubs in the PL still getting help from the officials . It has long been the case.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s not true.

If you try to kick the ball and kick someone’s shin accidentally, it’s rarely a red card.

Also the Lindelof challenge would have been a very weak red card, and I think it helped him getting some of the ball as he challenged.

You can’t have those as some sort of example of bias just because you disagree with them.

This is exactly why Skipp should have been sent off for trying to take out Diaz and send him back for another year in the treatment room, then Skipp wouldn't have been on the pitch for the high boot anyway.

What rubbish. Like saying "I you nicked my knife out of my back pocket earlier, I could not have stabbed you later on. So I am innocent"
The fact is in just about every game where a player kicks another player in the head, whilst he is standing up, is dangerous, out of control play and gets a red.......apart from when it is LiVARpool.
It's the same as completing mission impossible and getting a penalty at OT.
You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.
