Yeah but the kid being raped by Prince Andrew would probably cause a scene and irritate more people than are sympathetic for their cause.

Will try and spin it so you understand.

Their trying too ban poppy's

You turn up on 11th November wearing a poppy in protest against the ban and get arrested.

Do you accept that you should be arrested? You're piissing off a lot of people who just want to go about their day
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's pointless really, you're never going to understand how the majority of people feel in this Country and the protest today will have made a negative impact on them.

As I said above if you haven't got this after brexit and years of Tory governments you never will, so I'll step out and leave you to your echo chamber.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An important thing to learn in life (if brain capable) is that holding a majority viewpoint does not make you more correct. The majority of people in this country are brain dead idiots. It is interesting that being smart and having morals is something to beat people with now. Humans are very confusing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The point is that they irritated far more people than those that had any sympathy for their ‘cause’. I reckon they’ve probably done themselves more harm than good. They’re most definitely not particularly smart, the fact you think they are just backs it up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can you possibly be irritated by their actions? They did nothing wrong. Your precious king still got his ridiculous ceremony and laughed at all his peasants waving flags at him while he retired to his palace. Most people I know were more irritated by the coronation then some harmless protesters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They didn’t get the chance to do anything wrong, and it didn’t irritate me because I wasn’t there. I would imagine all those that were there were more than happy seeing them get carted away though. Why should their day out be ruined by a bunch of buffoons who can’t be bothered to do actual jobs themselves?

Because they are a bunch of Tory priicks maybe that deserve to have their shiiitey tory day ruined?

So do people actually think that the rape alarms were being handed out because of the danger of being raped at the Kings coronation?

So it was only Tories who were in London today?

Go to bed Barry, you’re being incredibly tedious and extremely feckin boring even by your own standards.

Had a wee lie in this morning so not bed time for a while. How's your day been? Good win for Liverpool. Salah won me money. Anyway, your brain is made of cabbage

The Met said "lock-on devices" - which protesters can use to secure themselves to things like railings - had been seized. Recent changes to the law, passed this week, make it illegal to prepare to lock-on.

But Republic said officers had "misconstrued" straps meant to secure their signs in place.

Nope. They were all a bunch of snowflakes protesting against hitler's actions. Probably piissed off more naaziis than were sympathetic of their cause

Protesting isn’t their job. I’m sure they all have proper jobs and contribute to society. Just like the royal family. Oh, no, hang on......

They were luggage and ratchet straps.

Assuming you know what those are, could you explain to me how you might use such in isolation to ‘lock on’ to something in such a manner that your average delivery driver, never mind police officer, couldn’t unfasten you please?

Tbf the police officers would be incapacitated trying to confiscate all the rape alarms

They arrived, as they’d explained to the police and had OK’d in advance, in a delivery fan containing hundreds of placards.

Rather than create the world’s most dangerous game of mikado sticks in the back of the truck, the placards had been batched, wrapped by the straps, before being loaded onto the truck, the batches then being stacked.

If they had wanted to smuggle ‘lock on’ devices into a protest, a) they’d have probably brought something that actually locked, rather than luggage straps, and b) they’d probably have made any kind of effort to hide them, rather than showing them immediately to the police when they opened the van.

The lengths people will go to, they narratives they will stretch out, for no other reason than to defend the likely illegal actions - authoritarian legislation considered - of a bunch of fascist, power-crazy cops, is breathtaking.
