City made a 'significant bid for Kane but it was well short of Levy's asking price of £130m.
City bought Alavarez (23) and Halaand (22) for a total of £70m.
All's well that ends well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really. Kane is better than both and City could still end up trophyless.

The bid was made 2 years ago, we won the league without him last season, scoring 99 goals in the process, in case you forgot.
Scary thing is, majority of players usually take a full season to adapt to Peps style
So Haaland will be even better next season
Kane is only just about outscoring Ivan Toney

Another myth about City. Did the likes of:
Walker
Dias
Ederson
Sterling
Laporte
Take a year to settle in??
Such a pro-City, pro-Haaland agenda it's disgusting.

And last season you'd have won at least 1 other trophy, possibly the UCL, if you had Kane...
Klinsmann, Zola and our own Rubin Dias are the only other overseas players to win the fooball writers POTY award in their first season.

Yes, he's only outscored him by 6. Kane has 8 more from play.
I'm surprised Kane didn't make top 5 in the PFA player of the season. He's been better than Rashford in 5th.
Haaland wouldn't have scored as many for any other team IMO, but Kane wouldn't score as many as Haaland at Man City either.

Not sure about that. City seem to ignore him sometimes. If they wanted to play more direct he would score even more but they're happy to conserve energy and keep the ball.

Losing 6-5 on aggregate to Real Madrid would indicate to someone with minimal understanding of the game that defence was more of a problem than attack.
Again you're wrong Boris. City should've scored about 12 goals across both games but couldn't finish their chances.
Kane would've won you the UCL last year against that overrated Liverpool side.
