When Conte was sacked Spurs could still have reached 79 points. In the 8 games since Spurs have managed 8 points. Looks like Conte was working miracles.

Yes Spurs will from time to time finish top four, and this season with the Prem being so poor, I thought they should have finished top four, but they lost the whole of the midfield at the same time to injuries, so everything changed. The fact that at the season ends they will finish just a few points of top four in all probability, shows how weak the Prem is this season.

And I when has 6th/7th/8th been midtable? You need to learn to add up. 10th is midtable.

Surprisingly looking at the fixtures Brentford could still get that 7th spot although it would need a near miracle for it to happen.

Bottom line is Spurs will win same as Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this season. So no big deal.

You are right Sandy , we are about where we should be going on the strength / ability of the squad

I’d say 6th best in the league squad wise or thereabouts

My issue is Enic charging premium ticket prices (most expensive in Europe someone said?) so treating us fans like we are one of the best teams around but we are no where near and then making catalogues of errors with staff and recruitment ….yes they have spent and wasted money but they employed those people making the decisions to waste that money

Enic need to lower prices to align with the squad limitations or finally recruit properly to match what they want fans to see at the rate they want to charge

Whatever happens Hafi, it won`t be a big deal to me. I clapped the team off the pitch at WHL the day Spurs were relegated. So I don`t throw my toys out of the pram after every defeat.

Blackpolespur. To be fair when do any clubs every not charge as much as they can get away with. Are Chelsea reducing their prices because of where they sit in the table? It is what it is in the modern era, make as much money as you can. Spurs sell out every game, so not like supporters are being put off by the high prices.

Absolutely peeed off with them. Especially when the Government keep coming out and saying they are paying half of everyone`s energy bills, they are not.

They have doubled in a year, and they have given myself and my wife, both pensioners back about 10 per cent of my yearly bill. That`s not fecking half. Why do they lie so much, do they think we are stupid.

Chelsea are in a false position…..one good manager and striker away from threatening top 4 again …..the owners also spend ridiculous amounts of money on transfers and wages so their prices are aligned

Ours are the highest for no justifiable reason other than greed and cos they are getting away with it ….. season ticket holders have a right to be angry at what they pay compared to what they see

Are energy companies reducing their prices because of where consumers sit in the cost of living table? It is what it is in the modern era, make as much money as you can.

The offsides were a result of Villa playing on the front foot. Pressing high up the pitch. Effectively narrowing the field of play whilst in possession but also out of possession. Very brave tactic especially against a team that can only counter attack.

That’s said, Som should’ve held his runs or rather bent his runs to beat the trap. But no complaints from me the better team won on the day.

They are not in a false position, they have had two decent managers this season Tuchel and Potter, and neither could get a tune out of their players.

I feel Spurs will get that 7th spot due to Kane. Reminds me of when Mourinho scraped 7th on the final day. Brighton could still also not get at least 6th but if they don’t with the quality they have it would be an underachievement even though they have tough games. Spurs probably get top 4 next season in front of Arsenal as that is usually what happens recent times.

To be fair mate, nobody is forcedto buy a season ticket. I never get the argument about season ticket holders paying over the odds. You either want one or you don`t. Like anything you buy. Your choice.

Potter was the wrong fit for a demand success immediately club

He would be a better fit for us

Both clubs got things the wrong way round ,…, they need a conte / Jose with that squad (plus a striker)

We need a potter / Poch type manager (I’m not saying I wanted Poch)

For the record I think Poch will struggle for the same reason potter did
