I dont understand what goes through peoples minds sending death threats to players its mindless,
Though I did chuckle when i saw someone call him a Tory boy i would have him as an out and out lib dem/green.
Bamford aside its good to see a bit of banter on here as i often think the site is devoid of humour and is all doom and gloom though as someone who watches an episode of Richard Emery on youtube most nights my humour might be classed as un PC in this crazy world(as if to prove my point i cant call Richard by the name hes known as).

There is no doubt a connection between the making of death threats and mental health issues. Poor old Patrick Bamford - and his family - that's the last thing he needs right now. I hope the club is doing its damnedest to support him through this.

But such incidents and issues come following a long period - two years - of depressingly poor performances by our club at all levels.

It's been REALLY tough being a Leeds fan these past two seasons. We experienced such a joyful regeneration under Bielsa and that's been well and truly blown. Death of a thousand cuts and all that - it's been excruciating! Anyone with an already-existing problem is likely to feel even more desperate, subject to even greater extremism. Twatter etc only echoes and amplifies the madness and so it goes on.

I'm not saying anyone deserves to receive death threats. However, the club's slide into relegation because of chronic mismanagement over two years has been enough to test the patience of a saint.

The sooner we get shot of Andrea Radrizzani, the man who clearly knows nothing about the business of professional football, the better it will be for the club - and its players and supporters. His incompetence is toxic.

Will the 49ers be any better? That's debatable, but these last two years have shown that Radrizzani is not a fit and competent owner and that we will continue to struggle if he remains in control.

Regarding ownership a deal was agreed for a new manager last week after two long meetings which started the day after Gracia left, but only if we got relegated if we stay up the 49ers want to go through an interview process so said manager being a proud/stubborn man said stuff that and is going to be manager of Uruguay, and that’s gospel

Bamford has been a class signing for us

I think some miss the point. He's probably past his best and that's for me due to injuries. They have wrecked him. He has no pace or second gear. He's lost that thing he had.

He can't be relied on.

Spoiler alert.... this is a long post but I hope the one person it is directed at reads it...so here goes:

The subject matter of this thread is extremely alarming but we are almost all accustomed to hearing about this type of unacceptable behaviour sadly over the last 20 odd years on various social media platforms.

First of all as I have commented previously nobody is perfect and we all have flaws and have made mistakes in life but hopefully I like to think we operate within an acceptable level of dysfunction and rationality but there are those who unfortunately don't have a healthy middle ground and only function from one excessive extreme to another.

On this site just using Jonty as someone who has been on the receiving end of such extreme dysfunctional abuse I personally have my own suspicions over who that is most likely to be because the poster I suspect displays many red flags in the manner in which they interact on here.

Interestingly the person in question hasn't commented on this thread and as soon as I got unhinged vibes about this person I stopped interacting with them immediately as that cuts off the oxygen of attention they crave.

It is for others to work out who I'm referring to and I'm not going to name names but if the person who proports to be a Leeds fan is someone who can stalk threaten and insult a fellow Leeds fan on here is reading this then please read the extract below and seek professional help for your inner demons before it's too late.

This is the most usual Psychological make-up of a person who makes on line death threats studied extensively by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable minds in human psychology:

The psychological make-up of persons who threaten to harm others is poorly understood despite psychologists in every clinical setting encountering this disturbing and aberrant conduct.

Measures of personality and psychopathology, cognitive capacity, anger, adult attachment and attitudes were administered to 128 males who had uttered homicidal threats. Data quality was assessed with response style measures. A pattern of psychological dysfunction emerged among threateners with and without diagnosed mental disorders.

This pattern was characterized as a suspicious interpersonal style, self-alienation and pessimism. Verbal skill deficits further complicated the clinical picture for many.

Recommendations for addressing these problems in treatment are given with the goal of ameliorating clients’ reliance on threatening the people with whom they struggle to interact.

I'm a bit confused by this.... Does it mean Bielsa will manage us only if Radz is in charge because it was the 49ers who offended him?
So if we are relegated, Radz sticks around and Bielsa returns?
Or... We stay up, 49ers take over, they want to interview other candidates so Bielsa will take the Uraguay job?

Don, I believe it. And a couple of the Leeds YouTube content people were hinting at the same end of last
week. Having Messiah back would've been brilliant.

Red flag on 49ers immediately for running him off.

Macca (Don can correct me), I think what Don is saying
is Marcelo was all set to come back if we got relegated.
But the 49ers then said if we stay up, Marcelo will have
to go through an interview process (alongside other
candidates). And Marcelo said sod that, I'm signing up
to manage the Uruguay U21s. Bye bye.

I don't believe for one instant that Bielsa would work for Radrizzani again. Full stop.

Macca, you raise some very interesting and detailed observations there.

This Bamford death-threat, along with the incident at the game where Howe got pushed in the chest, is symptomatic of the toxicity being generated at the club which triggers these extremists. There will be further incomprehensibly stupid decisions, more critical errors on and off the pitch, until Radrizzani fux off for good.

One of the YouTube fans was saying that Marcelo was
stalling on signing the contract with Uruguay because
Leeds/49ers had made contact and were in discussion
with Marcelo on a return. With the likelihood we would
be relegated. This one person also got the sense that
MB would get full rein on the club. That's all toast now.

As in the info states that the 49ers want an interview process if we stay up so Bielsa said no.

If 49ers weren't involved then we get Bielsa and everything is better in the world.

Apparently Marcelo did a presentation which was out of this world(would it be anything else) with a rundown on all current players and ones due back from loan, they were going to do away with the DOF and he would have had full control, not going to happen now so we move on,

Threats of this nature against any football player and their kin is just plain despicable.

Asking Marcelo to go through an interview process for the Leeds job is bizarre in the extreme - What planet do these people live on? Has it flown completely over their heads how much love there is for the man around the City and him basically raising the phoenix from the ashes? - you could not make it up.

I think it's pretty clear what Don is saying.

Ar out of picture, 49ers wanted Bielsa back but only if relegated.

So, they trust him in Championship but not prem.

This is what happens when you get owners who know off all about football except for the couple of seasons they have seen from the sidelines.

I'm not convinced MB is the answer in the Prem .... for the reasons debated previously. Personally I'd want to move on and appoint someone else.

Would we really want MB ousted for a 2nd time? It'd happen eventually.

Just my take on it anyway.

I think Bielsa would be successful in Prem IF given the players.

My concern is that AR does not sell up if relegated, I understand that there is an option there.

Radz concerns me, though interesting to see what appeared to be a good natured chat between him and the team in the tunnel before kick off Saturday.... what was he doing in the tunnel anyway?

As for Bielsa ... i don't want to come across as not rating him, it's not that, nothing could be further actually. I just think even with better players, without variation of tactics, we get sussed again. High tempo and his style works .... for a while. Just my fear.
