it's ironic that teams are allowed to get into the prem with grounds that are totally inadequate or with very low capacities
there used to be conditions on allowing teams to enter the league and I recall Kidderminster Harriers ere refused promotion to the old league 4 on the grounds that their ground was inadequate.
Luton are having to do loads of upgrades on their stadium over the summer. I think they are pretty much demolishing one of the stands and rebuilding it.
They also have planning permission to build a new stadium which will start at some point this year. All this is probably funded by the Premier League money. If you deny teams promotion and the money that comes with it, then these improvements will never happen and you close off the aspirations of loads of clubs. There needs to be some leeway where clubs can demonstrate they have plans to upgrade and this is monitored, rather than just being cut off.
Admin can we have a live link thingy please??
Big day for the other half today, we're in Yorkshire for the weekend too.
She's going to owe me big time if that point last weekend keeps them up
Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to enjoy any team success on the field in his season in Saudi. A win yesterday saw the team managed by Nuno clinch a league and cup double
Most amazing part of the Luton ground is the entrance to the away supporters stand. It’s a small alleyway in the middle of a row of terraced houses. From the back of the stand you then get a clear view into the small gardens and rear windows of those houses. That end of the ground is so enclosed I can’t see any way that part of the ground can be expanded
Wolves | Sa, Semedo, Collins, Kilman, Bueno, Gomes, Lemina, Nunes, Adama, Hwang, Jimenez.
Subs | Bentley, Ait-Nouri, Dawson, Toti, Hodge, Boubacar, Neves, Sarabia, Cunha.
Another shake-up. Most noteworthy is Jimenez's start. Pity it couldn't have been last week at home.
Head says 2-0, heart goes for an audacious 1-1.
pretty odd selection. No Neves starting is a surprise, Jimenez starting is also a surprise. Ait-Nouri now pointlessly on the bench is a surprise.
Heading out for the day so not watching, wil be checking in on the game though and following the relegation fun.
Hope Everton survive.
Bit ironic that Raul comes back in at the ground where he picked up his injury. Neves and Dawson on the bench. Can’t fancy that 11 to get any result today but who knows
Chance of setting a new Premier League record for the fewest goals scored in a season if we fail to score. 🐺
Wolves could finish as low as 15th, or as high as 11th if they manage at least a 14-0 win today.

Very doable
no podence or costa either.
A 16-2 win now presumably, spending more time watching Jeff Stellings do his stuff for the last time than the live games
glad i didn't bother. Pretty predictable
Make no bones about it we were dreadful, but how did the VAR officials watch the same replay as I and several thousand other people did and not give the penalty against Traore. Or are you now allowed to pull a players shirt in the penalty box and not be penalised? I don't think the replay could have been any clearer.
Incredible how we capitulate when we go a goal down. I think as soon as that happens, there is an acceptance that we ain’t winning the match.
We are dreadful 90% of the time when we play 433. You can generally tell how we will play by the team selection and formation we line up in.
I turned it off after the second went in. Watching the relegation games instead. Kind of glad I've been spared watching us the last few weeks through cricket.
I’m worrying about next season already, need about 9 or ten new players.
We also need the manager to stop going back to tactics that don't work over and over again.
Hopefully Lopetegui is learning a few things about some of his squad here.
