Just like Tesla being sued for sharing customer videos and photos of them is illegal if you wanna delve into it

Being sued does not make it true does it? Tesla are a big company and many people will try and take advantage of that.

One is a big issue. the other barely registers. Hence no court cases.

in a legal sense. but your talking laws over morals?!

smoking a j is illegal, stripping a company of its assets, making staff redundant and walking into the sunset with all the profits is legal.

I know what one I think of as being the bigger d!ck.

point being comparing morals with legality is very silly and pointless.

Amiga you dont think taking deposits from countries that Tesla wont be releasing the car in as being a bit shady?

posted on 8/6/23

No whodunnit I don't. You have issues, I don't. neither do the people placing their deposits. If they did they would claim it back.

As I said Tesla are not going to release an illegal truck.

you just dont get it.... the deposits were paid cos Musk alluded to them being available.
now it turns out that not only will they not be available, but the car ist even legal in the EU and Australia !!

and yet they still didnt announce this and continued to take deposits from a market they would not be selling to!

are you aware of what you have to do to get that money back?? Did Tesla decide ,,, you those CONTINENTS that we took hundreds of millions of in deposits will we return them since we cant sell the car to them? Na ... we will keep it quiet and wait for them to apply for the money back.

I know someone that did that ..... have you any idea what they had to do to get that money back?!!

posted on 8/6/23

I do get it, and I understand those deposits are refundable. So if people don't want to wait they don't have to.

yes they do. you clearly dont know the process for refunds .... you need to apply for a refund for starters and like I said thats just the start.

And you still think this is good practice and refuse to criticise them for it. the best you can do is say i dont care and so and so did worse imo.

which somes up the entire debate perfectly.

You dont care when they do bad as long as you can find someone who has done worse !

Ok I think we get it. You have a problem I don't. Lets leave it at that.

I don’t think getting the deposit back is an issue. I threatened to take my deposit back and they called my bluff both times

yeah but its not as simple as clicking the refund. (also were talking about cybertruck refunds.

For the cybertruck you need to apply for a refund, fill out the forms and send it to Tesla. You then need to wait for someone to pick up the refund request 14 days, then up to 6 weeks to wait for the refund to be processed and clear in your account.

and you have a deposit down for a car that they have actually released already , were talking about the cyber truck that as of now has taken deposits from customer all over the world (over quarter a billion) from customers who they are not releasing the car to, and haven't told these customers that the car is not legal to be released and no plans to release it.

why cos you dont want me exposing the things that tesla does wrong.

when you can admit they are doing wrong I will stop.

facts are they are sitting on over quarter a billion in deposits from customers they are not and cannot sell the cyber truck to.

Is this false??
