Daniel Levy, Chairman: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead."
Was hearing it was a 2 year deal earlier which I thought was strange.
I hope he’s given time and backing from the club and our fans.
Welcome to Spurs Ange.
Interesting that he chose to mention the Academy ? Hardly been a source of success for the club in the past few years
Ya manager robbing bastirts
Good luck to him, enjoyed his football as much as any I've seen in many years of watching Celtic so hopefully for you it continues and he gets the backing he will need, and deserve

Was just thinking that.
“Now that the season and all domestic cup competitions have concluded…” as if they had this lined up for weeks. Club continues to treat us like idiots but good luck Ange, the only guy who it seems actually wanted to come to us

Two youth age groups have just won some cups at u17 and u18 levels.
"Potentially" we have some exciting youngsters coming through. I can see why he has added that part.

Ah fair enough. Your youth system seemed to dry up a but after we nicked Inglethorpe from you.
Good luck to the bloke.
I feel like if him (or someone like him) came in after Poch he'd have a good chance to be a success.
But the club has rotted for 4 years now, going to be a huge effort to turn things round. Think he needs the Arteta treatment from Levy if things start badly.
4 year deal, hopefully he’ll get time to implement his methods

Yeah.. Thats true, would like to think the focus will be on the first team in the short term but better developing the academy would defo be a bonus, feels like its been a bit of wasted opportunity in recent years especially when the club makes such a fuss about the training facilities/ Infrastructure..... Its all in place !
He’s done well to organise an extra year to be paid off.

Agree, lets hope he is given time to rebuild as many of the current crop of players wont be suitable to his high octane, possession based brand of football.
As for Kane I will be happy for him to leave , lets get the cash and reinvest(hopefully wisely!!). A Kane less team could press better higher up the pitch and could even allow a fairer distribution of goals rather than the over reliance one 1 player...Sure he will score goals but Its a clean reset for me, out with the old and a new start.
We lost Bale and the whole world and his mother laughed and said we were fooked but we had our best years of "success" under Poch. COYS!!
Would be interested to know Spurs’ fans expectations in the first season?
Feels like things need to be broken down and restarted.

Do you reckon he’ll try and bring any players down with him, any stand out candidates?
I'm pretty encouraged but how positive Celtic fans about the guy. He sounds like a very good guy and a very good coach.
Would just be nice to see Spurs players actually look like they are enjoying their football again..... Its feels like years since its been that way. Im sure the players respected Jose & Conte but nobody looked like they were enjoying their football..... Its half the battle sometimes.... Talent gets you so far.. the rest is mental

He’s got a massive job on his hands
I just want him to come in clear out the dead wood and play good football that we want to watch.

I thought there’d be mention of the style… completely agree, and particularly after Mourinho / Conte etc. it’s understandable.
