This if Spurs fans could stomach a 23-36 month full rebuild then I think Ange could do it but if the expectations are an immediate upsurge in fortunes than that would, imo anyway, be beyond most if not all managers with the changes needed, Kanes future etc

Hope he gets the time needed

Very low. Postecoglou needs to sell a massive chunk of the squad and start over. If he does that, and makes the team attacking and likeable again, then I'll count that as a success. I think realistically the rebuild is so significant that I don't expect anything above about 7th next season - if there are signs that things are moving in the right direction. It took a while for Pochettino to get his methods in place, after all. A cup run would be nice too.

Having expectations at Spurs is pointless. I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

The whole squad needs a shuffle, Kane's future is up in the air. Will Ange continue with his philiosophy if it doesn't work? Too many variable at this moment.

Hopefully by August, Levy and Munn give him a squad capable of reaching Top 6 at least.

I just want him to come in clear out the dead wood and play good football that we want to watch.

I thought there’d be mention of the style… completely agree, and particularly after Mourinho / Conte etc. it’s understandable.

A few obvs ones, Kyogo, Hatate and perhaps Jota none of who I'd want in anyway to leave btw but if the price was right and they wanted it (wages offered would make it a probable no brainer) then maybe, Hatate would be my clearest choice but as per it all guesswork

i think hatate if anyone.

the one thing he will need is the one thing spurs don't have, patience.

full backs and midfielders really need to adapt to his style, quite unusual.

More importantly, what are Levy’s expectations. As this is the bloke that has sacked his manager every season for the last four years.

A mate of mine is an asian football expert (genuinely, he guests on a lot of asian football media) and he thinks Spurs have hit the jackpot here. He is honestly (not in a WUM way) saying that in two years, spurs will be competing for the title. I've never heard anyone so enthusiastic about a manager, especially for a club they don't support!

Hard to know whether or not to buy into all the hype considering the leagues he has managed in, but it's at least bringing some cautious optimism

we hadn't heard of him so were a bit dismissive, everyone who had heard of him told us we were lucky to have him.
