This has been a disaster. Aussies should cruise it from here.
Need a rain delay to regroup here
Need a 36 hour downpour to save our blushes here.
Picking Anderson again was a poor decision.
Too many in the England side are in on "mates rates"
The age of our bowling attack looking expised exposed here.
We'll come back into it at some point, but I think part of the problem is we kept asking for flatter pitches.
Australia have always been poor against the moving ball.
England will be happy to see the rain. Potentially going to take enough time out of the game to make an aussie win impossible.
Session after the rain is gonna be pivotal with England needing to get minimum three wickets before Aussies reach 200.
Looks like that's probably the day done

I'm guessing Mark Wood hasn't bowled as they think the ball will reverse and they want him fresh for his first spell then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably, but totally disagree with that approach. They knew rain was coming, so leaving his introduction until the Aussies were 99-0 was mental. He’s now bowled a grand total of 3 overs before the inevitable rain. Rest of the attack don’t look like taking 1 wicket, never mind 10. Timid stuff.
If we do lose it will feel really bizarre because based on how both teams have played it feels like England have been the better side for most of the series.
Silly mistakes in the first two tests and rain saving the Aussies at OT.
Archer
Tongue
Leach
To replace
Broad
Anderson
Ali
In the next ashes. Maybe a better wicket keeper instead of Bairstow too
Rest unchanged?

Archer?! I’ll be amazed if he plays another T20, never mind being fit for red ball cricket. Real shame, but can’t see it … unless the SuperVet can sort him out with a new right elbow.

Have to see how he fares / holds up in the World Cup
At an age now where he should naturally have strengthened muscles

In terms of test Cricket the focus after this test should be on the series in India this Winter.

Maybe a better wicketkeeper??? It's absolutely essential he's not wicketkeeper for England. It's cost us the series
What’s clear is that we’re not far behind the number one team in the world. With better tactics we would be closer still.

Better catching might have been enough, including a wicketkeeper who could actually move.
