He is a world test champion and taking the Ashes back home with him. He should continue. A nice easy home series against Pakistan coming up later this year.

All the best players go and play in The Hundred though. You end up with counties half filling their team with second XI players. It's a shame, as I always loved the one day cups.

Honestly, if India pick ashwin we don't win that game. And could easily have lost the ashes too. The quality in the squad has masked him captaincy to a degree.
