I don't fancy that Panzo lad, although Coventry lost the playoff final, he came on, looked shaky as hell and almost sold the jerseys in extra time, lad put the ball in the net and Panzo was only saved by a VAR handball
Nope
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't judge him on getting chucked on in the dying minutes in a huge match.
Not a great first impression for us but otherwise their fans seem to think he's a player and he won the World Cup at an age group with Foden etc.
Not who I would go for but can see why he might be chosen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty sure plenty folk will judge him on what they have seen on Youtube.....my take is, there is pressure on us to win every game, and at times he will have to be put on in high pressure situations at Ibrox etc.....he had ample time on the ball and just totally crumbled, not a good sign.....we've lost too many goals recently because of similar stupid mistakes

Kyogo worth more than Hatate?
He's 28, only 2 years on his deal as opposed to 25 with 3 years left in a position that Spurs actually need someone in.
Remains to be seen if he will come back for any of them but I'd think Hatate and CCV would be the two because their in the priority positions for Spurs.
CCV probably unpalatable to their fans though because they sold him as not good enough for them already.

A figure of £16m seems to be getting bandied about for Kyogo. Thoughts? Think I’d be telling Prem clubs to GTF at that level, given the crazy figures being spent down there. Bit like when we got a comparative pittance for VVD, even with future add-ons. I know the model we’re working within, but think the figure should be starting with a 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No club is going to pay more than £30m for a player at a Scottish club

Which is why I said the number should be starting with a 2, as it should have done for VVD as well.
Shinnie to Aberdeen should be completed soon
Also Rhys Williams from Liverpool is the latest from the Dons
I think 16m is a great deal should it be offered for Kyogo.
The club that buys him won't be able to sell him on for good money so expectations of 20m+ seem overly optimistic imo.

It should have done with VVD but the reality is we didn't know how good he was up here because the league only had 1 team and it was a total canter for him.
He proved himself at Southampton.

Agree with you on Jock, to be fair. His other brother Bob was a minister in Aberdeen for many years.
Real Madrid rumoured to be sniffing round Frimpong now anaw. transfermarkt have him valued at Eur40m and are usually conservative. Rumoured 30% sell on for us - could be another £10m all going well?
See if we sold one of our main assets for 20m, add this 10m, add the 4m for Ange, add 10m for a third of BR's supposed warchest even before any CL bonanza then we should be padding out the squad with £5-10m players and not guddling around any more in the squad filler scheite like Odin. Not saying he's rubbish, not saying anyone at £2-3m is but unearthing Jota, Kyogo & CCV in that price range shows what a cut above means compared with the likes of Bernabei, Maeda, Oh and even Starfelt. If Lawwell jnr and the team are that good they need to show it time and again and deliver a better starting 11.
I notice Iwata is due to sign his perm deal for £1m. Great better than expected at CB. Is OK at CM but he isn't outstanding. That's what I'm getting at - we need to aim higher than him going forward. I'd actually argue it is easier for our own academy lads to break through if they come into a team of 5-10m players than a team with Bernabei firing the ball at your waist.
Not saying there aint bargains out there at that lower range like Johnston but the hit rate is way lower and worried that we go back to that scheite somehow? Jota, CCV, Kyogo start every week. Does that not register?

No no no.
We proved you can make a mark with decent players and the right game plan.
Celtic need to wake up and realise their attempts to play European teams the same way the do St Mirren is doomed to failure. Rodgers might make some adjustments from his previous time but you will still be way too open and pay the price.
Panzo deal isn’t happening apparently. So leaves us a cb short. Want whoever comes in to be a first choice lcb, Trusty looked ideal but Panzo wasn’t convincing.
Hoping the chat of only 4 more players is before sales.
Expect Kamara, Wright and McLaughlin move on. Would like to see Barisic, Hagi, Davies and Colak (only as we could have Sima, Lammers, Roofe, Sakala plus Dessers/Danilo there) also moved on.
Expect we’ll have a smaller squad, so need for likes of King, Devine, Lowry will be greater for that reason and because we’ll need homegrown players for squad rules.
