He was a sub for most of that period tbf.
He was second fiddle for them, never finished 90mins once, didn't play through the middle either for a lot of games.
========
Aye , that would be some coup if you got him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't matter who they sign, Ibrox is still a coup.
for us having a new manager it kinda lacks that new era feeling you usually get, its not quite the excitement of the unknown.
"for us having a new manager it kinda lacks that new era "feeling you usually get, its not quite the excitement of the unknown."
Only thing that going to change that ......
Mon tae fvck Brendo, get the big bucks spent, we want a colossus marquee tent signed soon as ya cant.
I'm not optimistic

No marquee signings needed imho. We don’t want to splaff cash on a Tore Andre Flo or such like. Or waste money on an Ajeti type.

tillman we watched, Tillman produced the numbers, Tillman numbers from midfield are the best the club has seen in the last 20 odd years.
from a boy @ 20 in his debut season as a pro. Its not a very good comparison IMO.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was using as a comparison as even if he’d wanted to join, a lot of our fans thought he wasn’t worth it.
Danilo 24, scored 10 goals last season and was clearly a good backup for Feyenoord. He’s only had one season as a first choice striker, so 5.5m seems a lot in comparison and fans seem to be saying just pay it. GG was signed for less, and scored more in Holland.
Big GG averaging a goal every 93 minutes in the MLS - not too shabby.

Bawz. One of the best things Ange brought was pragmatism. GG thought he was better than he was and keeping him to contract any longer risked the group harmony with him moping about the place like peak buff or Eddy and rightly GTF. Too often in the past we've tried to play smart buggers with contracts instead of cutting and running make the profit, move on. Wish him well. MLS on the up.

we cant afford to buy him, we can't afford his wages, and a loan to us would also be out of our reach if we paid 50% of his wages.
lazy as you say mate.
Thought he was nailed on for Newcastle but beginning to think Arsenal will hold on to him.
To good to be a back up though.

If Clarke can find a way to incorporate him n'at....
TBF he aint really a CB or LM so he needs a team that plays an overlapping WB but it aint us albeit you never know when DD loses his senses and goes all in to overhaul some notional trophy count. Unlikely, but you never know?
Minimum 25m transfer.
So i know
It's a smart move by Celtic.
We won't bid for him and that will force them into giving us a few million. Brilliant.

Only if Barca loan him to them with a view for them to purchase but then Barca decide against it, but only if confirmed in a vague fanzine that this is the arrangement, or something
