I am optimistic for a top six final position and a top two IF we hang on to Bird and get three more in (striker, DM and another WB or yet another striker.)

The bookies make us big favourites and the bookies are not often wrong. Therefore i would expect a very good season. I just feel we need to sign a forward who will hit the target more than miss it!

Anyways, Here is hoping for a season to remember and a promotion without the stress of any playoffs!

Personally I would like to play for a manager of a premier league club. The wages are better for the same job.

Personally I would not want to become one of those overpaid, overhyped prima donnas.

Last season I thought we would do well to finish in the top half after the turmoil that preceded it. This season I expect promotion. Warne has an unbelievable track record at this level and, like the best managers, has focused on getting a solid defence as the first priority. If you leak goals you have had it. I really like the look of the back line. I think Cashin will go from strength to strength alongside Bradley and Nelson and I also have a feeling that Forsyth may play a significant role on an occasional basis at left wing back.

Having said I expect promotion that is based on a belief that some more players will be coming in. I think we need more variety up front and a bit more cover in midfield.

1969, 1985, 1986, 1996, 2007. I will be 60 soon and I have seen 5 promotions. It would be great to see two more, they are glorious things to be a part of.

I think Spart is saying that everybody would chase the money in this situation. I don't agree though. Money talks, and it's persuasive, but for some players at least it's not the only factor.

Thanks for your take Vidal. I still think Spart’s comment would have made more sense if had been separate and not in response to Chicago’s comment.

Well living in a red neck state, whose only claims to fame are a horse race which they cannot pronounce properly, rye whisky and Muhammad Ali I would want to leave. They vote in old tortoise face as senator. Says it all.
