Be interesting to see how this plays out now.
The problem we have with setting a valuation is that the club interested doesn’t have any money.
So unless the club cave then Gnonto won’t be going anywhere.
How do we then treat him if he’s playing for us?
This is also interesting … his agent only has two clients… and the other one did the same thing !!
https://twitter.com/ls11lufc/status/1690087619261067264?s=46&t=IReUWTp-qujoNkf_Wx4JpQ
He should not play for the club again, if this is what it looks like
Sounds like hes been badly advised by his agent. Then again hes old enough to know better.
God its like a soap opera following Leeds United
That's a great shame - Wilfried Gnonto has the potential to become a great great player BUT
he's also under contract for four more years - and without a relegation clause.
Now he has shown his true colours, we don't want him wearing the shirt, which is a shame. In that case, sell him to the highest bidder...?
except that, there's only Everton, and they're skint, trying to screw something on the side! Jeez, you couldn't make it up....V Interesting that nobody else other than Everton - Everton, ffs! - has come in for him, notwithstanding the noise from Mancini.
I am disappointed in Willy. Think he's rather taking the Michael...
Beer no4 agrees with me.
Goodbye Willy Gnonto - thanks for everything!
I thought Burnley were interested? And Inter too. Do they have the ££ though...
Just seen club statement.
We paid peanuts for him, he'll be win peanuts.
His agent tried same sh at Roma with another player.
In this case, I would let him rot in reserves until he make s a public apology for his behaviour.
It all depends on the Adams situation because if he doesn't leave you get the impression that Leeds need to raise at least that Adams amount from someone else.
Meslier, Summerville, Jack possibly but if not I can't see Gnonto not being sold before the window shuts when hopefully a few more desperate Premier league clubs will enter the bidding wars.... who blinks first time!
Gnonto should be fired and a lien should be assessed against him...say £20m, he shouldn't get paid until a club pays out the lien. I was going to use Mason Greenwood as an example, but apparently he's innocent...so remember Adrian Mutu getting fired for cocaine use by Chelsea, I'm pretty sure they lost £15m...I know it's Chelsea, but it's wrong! Clubs needs to claw back some power, players and agents are running amok.
We should sell him to Mancini.
On the surface, it looks like a headstrong 19 year old boy breaking the rules and getting punished for it. Cue the greedy agent who fills his head with ideas of grandeur.
But this is not the first time we have experienced players refusing to play. Just ask Byram and the sick note six. And at the moment we have eleven players allegedly injured. Summerville, Harrison and Adams among them, angling for moves away. Our squad stinks of self-entitled prima donnas who don’t give a $hit about anything but themselves. And why would the want-always want to play when players like Ayling and Bamford and Coops are comfortably collecting coin for bossing it in the dressing room and letting us down on the pitch? We have an ingrained culture of milking this beast, from Bates and Cellino, to GFH and Radz. The players are not stupid. They see it every day. It’s a culture of ‘if you can get away with it, so can I’.
Against this background, Bielsa’s achievement was even more remarkable. He made the players feel good about playing for us, and he made us fall in love with LUFC all over again. We now know that he managed to paper over a lot of cracks and everything has unravelled as we defaulted back to what we are familiar with.
Sadly, Farke is no Bielsa, If he lasts till Christmas it will be a facking miracle

90% bolluck$!
So I’m not totally wrong, then, Stoopo. I didn’t even mention the charlatans who fled the coop as soon as relegation loomed. You know, it would be nice if just one of them said, ‘we messed up last season, let’s put it right this season.’ It’s the sort of thing ordinary people like us would say as a matter of course.

Tommy Docherty but Tommy do cherry is a good handle as well
That's two games now in which Gnonto has not been available for selection through no good reason. Wanting away is not a good reason. Gnonto's agent is obviously a khunt, but Gnonto also?
I'm amazed his mum and dad have agreed to their boy making such an unprofessional response, one that will now mark him out in future to other clubs perhaps.
It's weird because Farke said he trained very professionally on Thursday.
I reckon Shacks Bate and Greenwood are going to get more game time now along with James, Poveda, Joffy and Perkins.
I don't expect to see the following play in a Leeds shirt again or at least after September.... Meslier, Drameh, Firpo (the only positive), Adams, Gnonto, Jack, Sinisterra, Summerville and possibly Rutter.
Important to not jump to conclusions and start tarring players until we actually know what's going on.
I think the club has to bear some burden of responsibility for this situation too, personally.
I will definitely take a draw today with all of this shyytte show going on behind the scenes and thinking about it just attaining mid table status in the championship is probably a more realistic aim this season... what a nightmare... again!
