The 'after effects of administration' - giving Gyles Brandreth a run for his money there, Stevie!
How are we treating the £134m of debt that was shed?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same way that any other company in the UK does when its assets are sold off and it enters liquidatio......you know, a legal process that I'd imagine happens pretty regularly in this country
If you want to get embroiled in all the moral arguments about this stuff...crack on, but I got kind of tired of all that $hite many moons ago mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the chuckle anyway

Ha
The club was the business which was sold… with some of the assets
Which assets weren’t sold?
You’ve opened up a can of worms now
I’ve never bothered to look. Given the business itself was sold as a going concern it doesn’t really matter

Administration, liquidation, incorporation-why are you asking them about any of this stuff?!
This a club and a fan base that celebrated their centenary in 1973 and their ‘150th’ in 2022…

A whole new definition of liquidation and business required for this to hold any water but maybe these are some of the ‘after effects’?
If the club was sold as a going concern, why was the name changed?
If you can buy trophies surely you could've bought the name.

Was great reading the experts on here, posting utter nonsense with confidence.
I stayed pretty quiet but I do this for a living. There’s a few that got close/got it right, but most on both sides were miles out.

You’re rewriting history now. The business was sold as a going concern while the old company was in administration, consistent with the insolvency act.
So are you saying it’s the insolvency act or the facts that what happened per the creditor reports that doesn’t hold water?
