Just seen Joao Moutinho's farewell message on Instagram. Odd timing, maybe he's got another club but must have been obvious that he wasn't going to be offered a new deal since before the end of the season. No coincidence i think that he's waited until Lopetegui left.

Feeling positive for this one. Get at them. 1-1

Feel that the "real" fans in the ground, of which yours truly will be one, will make the difference on Saturday

We got this!!

Brighton have been considered our bogey team for a long time before they became a decent Premier League club.

We played them in a league game for the first time in 1979 and then didn't win any of the first 13 games against them.We actually lost all of the first 9. And things haven't improved much since then. The total league record against Brighton is Played 38, Won 6 Drawn 14 and lost 18.

The last three meetings have all been won by Brighton with an aggregate score of 12-2

We owe them one

We evidently owe them more than one. However, we've got to start somewhere

Seems like he might be continuing to play at a high level for a bit longer as he is evidently close to signing up with top Portuguese side Porto

If we continue where we left off on Monday, I would hope for at least a draw.
If there are any unbiased refs then let’s hope we get one for a change.
1-0.

Well that's already been ruled out - Andy Madely isn't that unbiased ref you want

Wolves home game against Newcastle has been selected for Sky coverage. It will still be on Saturday October 28th but will now be a 17:30 kick off

To be fair to Brighton, they get just as much bad luck with officials as we do. It's going to be tough for the ref and VAR to decide who to favour.

Wolves have revealed their third kit which is a kind of turquoise background with dark blue patterns. Looks more like a Mediterranean t-shirt than a football top, but I quite like it

Speculation of lots of transfers that might happen in the last two weeks of the window including;

Podence to Celtic
Ait Nouri to Nice
Sa out and Kasper Schmeichal in
Liverpool evidently interested in both Nunes and Lemina
Elvedi from Moenchengladbach still possible
Cresswell from West Ham still possible

The last two weeks could be more about holding on to players than bringing new ones in

Yeah it looks smart. Actually tempted to get it.

Oldie or Goldie, both good for me Boston, both even . Been called worse.

Just seen that 3rd shirt, yeah quite nice actually, not quite sure I could pull it off these days mind you.

Both of those go we get relegated - simples

Will be delighted if we don't have any more ins or outs really. Elvedi the only one that would be good. Any outgoings would be a disaster outside of Podence at this point.

talk of us being keen on Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill. 27 years old. Meh.

Absolutely, I will lose all heart with the club if it happens. Someone will need to start a Fosun out campaign as they will seem to be only be in it for the money.

posted on 18/8/23

I can understand the need to comply with FFP, however I fail to see how it is in Fosun's interests to asset strip the squad to the extent we risk relegation again.

There is no doubt if we hadn't changed manager and spent big in January we would be in the Championship now. Surely that isn't in the best interests of an investment company?

Completely off subject, but I saw a crazy sport called slamball the other night. Couldn't stop laughing as it reminded me a the movie "Flubber".
