reddave: you have got to be a matelot or an ex-matelot after stating "their manager never stops dripping". In the 40+ years since I left the mob, I have never heard that phrase used in civvy street.
Regards, an ex WAFU.
Redfor60yrs: If we play 3 at the back, then Neco for Serge. Serge is a right back, not a wingback. He is a good left back, but not in a three.
He's the opposite to Figuerido a few years ago, he was great in a three at the back but couldn't play in a standard back four. In a back four, he always had an error in him, but in a back three, I can't remember him making a mistake.

Wafu you say ! I’m an ex greenie. Been a while probably forgot more Jack sayings than I can remember
Just to clarify for folks that don't know what we're talking about.
WAFU means Wet And Fecking Useles, and is used for folk that were in the Fleet Air Arm of the Navy. A greenie is an electrician. I think that term is used for the FAA and general service, but I could be mistaken. I'm sure Redforever can clarify that.
Not Navy, ex- Blue job, in fact ex by 33 years.

I was told by a Chief Stoker who was baby sitting, for my first few dockyard visits that it stood for w@nkers & floofing useless?
RFB - It has to be said that stokers were not the sharpest tools in the box!!!
Neither were WAFU's for that matter...

Serge or Neco?
Not much between them imo. Serge defends better, Neco offers more going forward.
Having said that, I don't think I would pick Neco in a back four if Serge is available.
I'd expect a more defensive set up at OT - similar to the Arsenal game; so Serge to keep his place.
