The transfer window closes on Sept 1st at 11pm. Could be quite a bumpy ride until then

I like Lichfield, what have you done Tino to get banned.
Naughty boy.

There was a scuffle upstairs in a bar, someone headbutted my brother, before falling down two flights of stairs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What were the odds the guy that headbutted your bro would happen to fall down the stairs afterwards??!?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it was the recoil from his own actions
Been about five years now not even sure how enforced that pub watch thing is

Facial recognition software has come on a lot over the last 5 years ay it.
Not buying these Nunes to City rumours, the express and star dudes promised me there'd be no more departures yesterday, why would they lie to me
And if Nunes does go to City and that isn't confirmed until Sunday then he serves his one match ban with us.

Evidently Nunes has already agreed personal terms.
Can’t wait to get away it seems, and who can blame him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Any player at Wolves would jump at the chance to go to Man City and play under Guardiola. It would be the same if we were playing well and still had Lopetegui. I don't blame him for wanting to go if they come in.
Chem Campbell has joined Charlton on a season long loan
Seems City are already saying they would go above £50m but what use is that money to us just one week before the deadline.

Especially when you consider that even if Fosun released the money for transfers which player would want to sign for Wolves at the moment? With the way the summer has played out i would suggest we are the least attractive of the PL clubs at the moment.
We're going to be in great shape for a push for promotion next season though.
Wolves have rejected Man City's bid for Nunes. Reports are that we value him at £70-80 million.

Depends if we already have players lined up and if Fosun are willing to invest the money. We had reportedly agreed terms with Elvedi earlier in the summer and have been linked with several players.
Time for Hobbs to justify his wage if this happens.
Getting in £50m right now was not expected by Wolves so they certainly won’t have players lined up to spend money they didn’t expect to have. Elvedi is only about £7m and doesn’t help compensate for the loss of Nunes. If this deal had come around before Alex Scott was sold then it would have been more straight forward
We don't know they won't have players lined up or that this sort of deal wasn't expected. The club have said that they wouldn't sell anyone unless there was silly money involved, so you would have thought they would have seen this as a possibility and planned for it.
We'll have to wait and see what happens as everything is just an assumption at the moment.
This has all the ingredients to be an absolutely terrible game.

Yep. Wolves have only had 39 shots on goal in their 2 games this season with an XG of 4.41, so there is unlikely to be any action. Thanks for your input.

That's the spirit.
Do wonder how long Nunes has been aware of this transfer possibility. His sending off at the weekend was one of the most ridiculous I have seen. Total lack of discipline. You could almost think he was on a mission to get suspended to give a little time to sort his future out
We've been linked with McAtee from Man City a few times this summer. I wonder if they could get a deal with him coming the other way.
If we got McAtee and then a few players we have been linked with like Elvedi and Brownhill in with the money, it would soften the blow somewhat.
Evidently City has just released a statement saying that Bernardo Silva has committed his future to the club, this will inevitably and evidently indicate a cooling of interest in Nunes.
They want Nunes because they have lost Gundogan and Mahrez and De Bruyne is likely to be out injured for the next few months
They already bought Kovacic to replace Gundogan and Doku to replace Mahrez.
Foden will evidently fill in for KDB for a few weeks
Looks like Pep must have made a mistake then bidding for Nunes on the same day Bernardo signed a new contract
Semedo being linked with United.

No mistake. Just City making it clear to Silva that they weren't going to wait forever for a decision from him.
I'm here to help.
