Sasa!
What a difference a centre forward makes, who knew?
Up to 15th, level on points with Geordie Arabia 👍
We found a centre forward.
Well done WO, we have to keep a clean sheet.
8.5% of the way to safety
A point next Sunday and things will look much brighter.
Think I’d be tempted to start Sasa up top with Chunha off him at Palace
Not a great performance but such an important three points. Delighted for Sasa who has worked so hard to come back from his injury. Feature of the game though was a quite brilliant goalkeeping performance by Jose Sa
Had a feeling that wearing red might not be a good idea today, might get them riled. Turned out ok though.
Didn't get chucked down any stairs today either 😄
West Ham making Brighton look ordinary
All ok internet brothers ?
Hwang went off with a hamstring injury today so may be on the sidelines for a while

Tickety boo H.
This match thread stuff is quite the responsibility isn't it, I can relate to the cut and paste thing you did to be fair.
Mrs was on goal alerts this afternoon as we were enjoying our meal this afternoon( she's had a new 5g phone this week bless her) was a lot of fun listening to her trying to pronounce Kalajdzic. How do you say that she said, Sasha I said.
Sounds like we were pretty crap given Everton are a shambles but a welcome three points nevertheless.

Yes. Played better at Old Trafford and came away with nothing.
So important we don’t concede first. Whenever we do the floodgates open as all hope is lost regards winning the match.
Looks likely to be a few comings and goings in the last week of the transfer window. Hopefully the squad is not weakened by Friday night and we get two or three new faces in to help. Then avoid defeat at Palace next weekend before the international break comes at a good time to reset and almost start the season again with whatever squad we then have.
Before then we play Blackpool on Tuesday which is usually a chance to give game time to players outside the first 11. So probably see Bentley, Doherty,,Toti, Traore, Hodge, Sarabia and get more minutes into Sasa
wooden terracing and seats and I could not see all of the goal to my right from my seat at the back , poor game first half but second much better, some good performances-Neto, Semedo, Sa and RAN second half winger as sub, 3 disallowed goals, enjoyed celebration at the end , round trip from Kent in car due to rail strike , hopefully this will be a platform for some good performances and lots of points
Sa has had some criticism lately and rightly so but he kept us in the game yesterday, couple of outstanding saves.
Good finish too from Silva despite being offside, have a feeling that goals will come for the lad.

He needs to spend some time on the training ground one on one with the keeper. That’s twice in consecutive games he’s been through on goal and messed up.
Have a feeling if one goes in then more will follow for him.
I think Fabio is getting there. His first goal will be big for him and I can see him kicking on from that. In all our games so far he has been the one getting into the right positions, just needs a run of the ball
Reading about Nunes it seems City are determined to get him and will come back with an improved offer. And it seems the player has set his heart on going there. Reached the point where we would have an unhappy player on our hands if we stood in his way so best for all parties if that goes through now
What’s important is how much of the windfall will Fosun allow us to spend and can we in the next week get deals done that leave us in a good place
What are they waiting for? It’s been a few days since they had that “low ball” bid rejected?
