Gareth Bale 250m now.

Was genuinely a world beater when he left Spurs, way better than Neymar ever was.

Harry Maguire with inflated fees as they are, probably 5m now.

Would take Neymar over Bale for sure. Neymar was probably one of the greatest young players in history and then was unbelieveably good at Barca - only to be outshined by Messi

Bale was a very big fish in a small pond at Spurs so stood out more as a result, but Neymar is the better player without doubt in my eyes.

Not a chance, Bale pizzed all over Neymar. Take Madrid/Barca/PSG comparisons away, look what Bale has achieved with Wales and what Neymar has achieved with Brazil. Bale is the superior player, Neymar for the most part has wasted his career from a footballing perspective - money wise he is laughing

Bale dazzled his way to Champions League victory and carried an unfancied Wales to levels they hadn't seen since the 1950s.

And that was just his part-time job.

Obviously the likes of Chelsea, PSG and Utd might as well have rather spunked 600-700m on a prime Messi or Ronaldo instead of all the nearly men of their past 5 seasons and won more.

But I think there's a big discrepancy between supply and demand on certain positions nowadays compared to the golden era of football in the 90, like center forwards. Someone like Hasselbaink or Inzaghi would fetch 100m+ in todays market if guys like Richarlison and Hoilund are 60m+...
Almost every club however small they might be had a good-outstanding striker, and the top 5 Italian clubs + the European elite all had their own WC ones at the same time. That supressed prices somewhat and even then you suddenly had someone pay a record fee for Vieri who nobody knew outside of Italy and dare I say wasn't as good as Batistuta, Raul, Van Basten who all didn't make a transfer during their primes. Imagine if they were to become available in current day market...

If £115m is currently getting you a young DM with potential then surely a legendary attacking player is gonna easily be in the £250+ price.

The market back in the late 80s and early 90s was always a bit off because while we were breaking the British record for Keane at £3.75m in Italy a year earlier Milan we’re paying £13m for Lentini.

The should have been a question mark. George Best was the best do far.
Kenny and Bobby, too close to say.

If Ceceido is going for £110m, Rooney is going for more than £150m.

Richarlison was £60m too, so I reckon more like £3bn.
