The teams are in!
Wolves XI | Bentley, Doherty, Kilman, Toti, Jonny, Traore, Hodge, Sarabia, Ait-Nouri, Silva, Kalajdzic.
Jonny?? Otherwise kind of the expected line up
Sasa scores early. We may have a striker
The South Bank “sorts” are in fine voice tonight
Took him 66 minutes to match Semedo's 107 game total for Wolves
Nice to put a cup game to bed early and comfortably
Sarabia has at least 3 assists
We revert back to my preferred system and we win 5-0.

Yep, dropped Bueno as well
Good to see a convincing win albeit against poor opposition. Two strikers on the mark and particularly good goal by Fabio. Played 3 at the back which clearly suited Ait Nouri more. Doherty played on the right of the three and must have passed the ball sideways to Kilman 20 times in the first half. But at half time he was switched with Jonny playing on the right of the three and Doherty as the wing back and turning the clock back with two goals.
Good to see the youngsters getting a chance in the second half and for Fraser to get a goal. I thought Traore did well as the sole defensive midfield player. Sasa has a really good touch for a big guy, and Fabio works his socks off.
But no question Sarabia was man of the match. He was behind virtually everything positive we did in the Blackpool half and had a hand in most of the goals
Don’t think we particularly created lots of chances but for once we were clinical in front of goal.
Guedes has signed to play another season on loan at Benfica
Would be up for Ait-Nouri and Doherty as wing backs but for that to work we need to sign another CB first, hopefully Elvedi.
No question we will revert to a back 4 on Saturday with Semedo and Bueno as full backs, Lemina and Gomes back in midfield and Cunha in the forward line
Yeah the change in formation was a bit of a surprise but allowed Doc and Jonny to get some game time, did think Doherty was a bit wasted in that role in the first half but second half he really came alive in his old role, first goal was reminiscent of his winner at Newcastle a few years back
Great to see the two front men on the score sheet early too will hopefully help their confidence. Fabio maybe should've had a second but chose to set up Fraser instead when in a good position. Thought Traore and Toti started off a bit rusty but sharpened up as the game went on. Sarabia looked good too as did Jonny.
So used to us laboring in these games and nicking late goals to scrape through but fair play to O'Neil, sent them out to enjoy themselves and played without pressure. It just looked much fresher and vibrant than I've seen us for a long time. Helps of course when the opposition hardly lays a glove on you but even so very pressing to see.
Atmosphere in the south bank wasn't quite up to much mind you but didn't mind the standing, wasn't too full where we were either so could actually have a cheeky sit down to rest my old legs occasionally
... very pleasing to see...
The one sad part of the night was to see Joe Hodge go off after playing so well, he looked like he'd just opened them up too and was in on goal then ping the hammy goes. That's him out for three months at least. Worrying with the thin squad and Hwang out too.
