Yet Fosun International has reported revenue up 10.9 per cent to £10.48 billion in the first six months of this year.The Chinese group saw operating profit rise 5.5 per cent to £360 million.
Research and development investment was £450m with overseas revenue at £4.76bn – 45.4 per cent of the total.
Cash received from sale of non-strategic and non-core assets in the half year was more than £2.1bn.

So not all doom & gloom for them
