I thought mid twenties the bit of the billy wright by us was full the Steve bull was fairly empty
I googled it earlier and it's not showing anywhere
Relieved that Everton signed Beto after we played them, looks a real handful.
Looks like Matt Hobbnobs is preparing for a 2012 style deadline day trolley day with (some of) the Nunes money. Back then we sold Fletcher and Jarvis, bought Boukari and Doumbia and got relegated.
Who could forget Boo CarryOff and Doombar?
Like a bad dream.
Did sign Sako in that window too though.
Does feel uncomfortably similar to that period right now though.

Yet Fosun International has reported revenue up 10.9 per cent to £10.48 billion in the first six months of this year. The Chinese group saw operating profit rise 5.5 per cent to £360 million.
Research and development investment was £450m with overseas revenue at £4.76bn – 45.4 per cent of the total.
Cash received from sale of non-strategic and non-core assets in the half year was more than £2.1bn.
So not all doom & gloom for them

Does make you wonder why their share price is cratering then? Down a whopping 65% since 2018.

With the correct spelling as well
we've got Bueno number 2 as well now, still need a striker, maybe the Adams link will be a true one
Bueno is a good signing on paper.
Gonzales will be a project more than anything you would think, quite possibly going straight out on loan.
Chiquinho went straight back out on loan to famalicao
There's a few of us old timers who remember the last Uruguayan we bought...Rafael Villazán. Back in 1980 I believe.

They've said he will go into the first team squad.
Surprised 'money bags Mendes' hasn't been able to shift either Podence or Bruno Jordao yet. Both his players.
be surprised if both aren't gone by the end of the window
We could do a lot worse than Che Adams
Adams record in the prem is OK, 1 in 5 roughly. I'm hopeful both Fabio and Sasa will out score him though. Experienced back up at worst and a different option. I don't hate it.
Expect Doyle will be confirmed tomorrow
May as well claim the 💯 before I stick the Palace thread up.
All go this match thread lark, no wonder Gem took it up after he retired
