Yeah so clear lake are heavily invested in by the Saudi regime and now you have the state owned sponsorship

It does absolutely stink if we're honest, much like some of the sales.

Stink, oh yeah like Garrard, Hendo & Salah

Gaffer, tbf to the club, the Saudi investment into

Clearlake has already been looked into by the EPL.

It found that Saudi investment accounts for aprx 6 % of its investor portfolio.

No, like being bankrolled by a state to help you circumnavigate Financial Fair Play rules.

Look, it's not your fault but at least own it. Chelsea are cheating and the only reason it's not getting even more press is because they're also failing miserably.

======

Saying 6% is arbitrary. They have billions invested through Clearlake and it's an obvious conflict of interests.

dont even think it's that high. It's not worth talking to pranks btw. Not sure if you already knew that or not. Him/kash/Kls and mamba from the liverpool board.

Much better off talking to robbing and a few others.

a lot of holes in this. All been explained in previous articles should you wish to do the reading. Anyone can invest in a hedge fund or the like. Clearlakes ownership has no bearing on the FFP of chelsea FC as an entity.
Hence why we've had to sell so many players.

The players you sold Nik, obviously. May be they would've happened anyway, may be not, but it doesnt alter the fact it'sa clear conflict of interests. It just stinks.

Same as Burnley getting a great deal on a international centre back from a City Group club as a sweetener for a very nice price on Nunes.

Own what,

To be clear, i dont have an issue with it in the first place.

Clearlake oversee 90 bln usd worth of investment capital, from numerous investors, 6% of that for the last 20 years has come from Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea are , much as Liverpool and numerous others are taking advantage of the market opportunity.

The Saudi investment authority are investing 70bln into developing their footballing league.

I assume that when Liverpool fc recoup something like 250mln , a quarter of a billion pounds , for two 30 + footballers, Hendo & Salah, you clowns are going to be up in arms, ranting your club is cheating and it stinks.

You can own that, knock yourselves out

If you want to pretend it's bot a conflict of interests you crack on but it's pretty embarrassing.

whats the conflict of interest though? I don't understand.
they all went to different rivals within the saudi league and we took losses on every player, all of them internationals. I'd understand if we got £80m for koulibaly but it wasn't the case.

Sure.

Some of you will say absolutely anything. Gerrard signed Liverpools captain who had two years left on his contract for £12m is the reality.
