Yeah once Brighton got over the initial surprise of how we set up, once they found their rhythm and started finding their full-backs in higher positions, it was pretty easy for them.

We should've adjusted at some point before the second half as carrying on with Eriksen in that role was suicide.

Glazers fault mate. They need to be phoning ten hag while he's on the touchline, telling him how to set up the team.

😂

We are going to crash and burn this season. I have already made peace with it.

I'd take 14th place right now if it guaranteed new owners.

United are doomed

Ten Hag is doomed

Fack me...

I dont actually think there's much between Dalot and Wan Bissaka but this basically means Dalot and Reguillon will be playing every game for the next 2 months. Unless Amrabat gets the odd game at RB which it seems he will going by ETH's comments the other day.

On another note, that random ITK account has quadrupled its following in less than 24 hours - fair play

It's probably Jadon Sancho's burner account

Chelsea literally have 12 injuries of about £500m worth of latent. This after having the most injuries two out of the last three season. This off the back of chelsea unfairly being sanctioned and handcuffed leading to a loss of owner and manager .

Not sure about this more bad luck than 19 teams put together at all. I think chelsea have been worse off than Utd alone.

They may have paid £500m, but I'm pretty sure they're not worth that.

Yeah it stands to reason that the more numbers you have in a squad, the more injuries you'd expect to have. United's squad isn't particularly large and we're still missing a dozen players

I just don't think our players are fit. I really don't.

I've said it a few times but we just get overrun and physically dominated in pretty much every game.

I only listened to the Brighton game but Perry Groves kept saying how half-hearted our pressing was. They were probably all knackered after a decent opening 20 minutes.

We saw it with our own eyes pressing is and has been non existent. Eth wanted the fitness coach from Ajax but being vetoed by the Glazers is paying dividends!

I think our conditioning is still well below the standard required for top athletes and when you add in our lack of rotation and players unsuited to the physical demands of what Ten Hag wants them to do, then we've got a problem.

I think our poor fitness levels will also have an impact on our ability to carry out tactical instructions and technical tasks to a high level and make the right decisions over 90 minutes.

I would also say as well that despite all this, there's a lazy element to how this team performs off the ball. There's a lack of desire to press as a team, to sprint and get back into shape and defend in a block.

62 games last season might well be having an impact. City played 1 less game than us though so that doesn't add up. Although City don't spend 60-70% of each match chasing the ball so there is that.

We are now without 3/4 of our defence midweek in Munich if Varane doesn't start.

City run far more than our players mate. Our players are just unfit or lazy

They do but I think you misunderstood the point. They have the ball for 70% of the game so they aren't chasing for as long. It's short bursts to get it back.

Yep. City's players are trained to win the ball back within three milliseconds of losing it. Our players seem content to wait three weeks.
