It’s pretty simple imo. A player does the business he stays in the team. A player doesn’t he drops to the bench. Which we can now do with 6 players trying for 3 positions. It keeps them all on their toes, knowing if they deliver they start. Given a start if they don’t, they sit it out again.

It's a sympathy vote obviously
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or some view football as in the main a confidence sport. When someone is benched they have to take their opportunity. When they take the opportunity they should be rewarded until they have another stinker.
Lucas Moura and the CL semi was a perfect example. He should’ve played
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Different scenario with Lucas.
Lets stay on track. Pretty sure Ricky started the first three games and was awful. He has had a chance already. Or is better to forget because sympathy overides the past?
Son was given a chance up top and took it with open arms.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed Son did but then drew a blank against Sheffield. Nothing to do sympathy and everything to do with him being the reason we got 3 pts
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But Richy was given 3 starts and drew a blank. Two more chances for Son then surely? Crazy to drop our top goal scorer after one blank lol
I'm sure you agree.

So Ange should operate a one strike policy? Great management. That won't confuse the players one bit lol

No Son stays for me. Should be Richarlison, Son and Kulu as the front 3 for the Arsenal game. All 3 are presently on form. Solomon is promising but is a bit light weight for me against White at RB.

I quite like Solomon against White. Think his pace and trickery could do him. Son is also very lightweight. I think White would have a better time against Son than Solomon.
But hey ho Richy has mental issues so he must play I guess 🤷♂️

You’re saying that not me I am far far from his biggest fan. Fact for me he won the 3 pts means he starts. He stinks the place out again it’s back to the bench imo
Oh am I said I want him Richarlison against White. Son to play in the 9 on the shoulder
