A point would be a good result for both teams imo? that said Ange will want to go for the win and I'm sure Klopp wont be any different so it should be a great back and forth match
I’d be disappointed with a draw , looking to win this one tbf
I'd take a draw away at Spurs normally but with City winning flat out, we really need to be winning it.
its hard to tell the difference between a Spurs draw and a win these days .................
it should be a very good watch tbf.
Despite all the attention that our attacking plan has received, its worth noting that our defense has been excellent!!. We were a bit unlucky with both the arsenal goals and outside of that we have been really good.
I don't think there's much between Us, Liverpool, arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton. I think the key to a good season & a top 4 finish will be picking up points against these team.
wouldn't be upset with end to end 1-1 draw
If Maddison starts I wouldn't take a draw if he doesn’t I would.
In b4 Sandy.
Spurs should be looking to win this by 4 or 5 goals easily. The likes of VDV, Udogie, Sarr etc have fitted in seamlessly. Liverpoop have lots of new signings who haven't settled as quickly. It's a good time to be playing them. They'll finish 7th or 8th at best whereas Ange will have the title wrapped up by Easter.
Draw isn’t a bad result, but I wouldn’t take a draw if offered right now. Unlike before the emirates
I guess my philosophy is (if you are serious about reaching the Top 4) win your home games and at least draw in your away games)
That said I wouldn’t be massively upset with a draw at this stage of the season.
I guess I would take a draw, main reason being it does not allow what one might call a rival to get away from us. It also further reaffirms our quality and the sense that we again belong in this top echelon.
It will be an interesting game. Two managers who are probably more attack minded than any others and two who do not over complicate the tactics, so expect them to have a go at us and us to have a go at them.
What will be interesting will be to see if Klopp, as the away coach, tempers their approach slightly, whether there is any fear that opening up against Spurs at WHL will be too risky, and whether a slightly more circumspect approach is taken, at least for the first hour or so.
Spurs put a lot in to matches so I can see the subs making a difference in this game and Liverpool have plenty of attacking options on the bench. Last 15 minutes could be hectic like it was at Anfield last season and another 7 goal thriller is also a real possibility.

Depends on what Spurs' aspirations are. Whether Liverpool are titke contenders or not is another debate, but Spurs should be looking at them as top 4 rivals and, as the home side, should be looking to win.
Really hope Johnson is fit.... Given the fact Liverpool play a pretty high defensive line, with the FBs pushed up.... I hope we go with pace up top... I'd start Sonny centrally again with Johnson on the left and Richie on the right.

Kulu has played well and Im not dropping him because of form I just think they key to beating Liverpool is to make their FBs think more about defending than storming forward. They leave space in behind and Richie poses more a threat... Granted Kulu is great at tracking back but might be a better option off the bench ? who knows.. just a thought

Liverpool haven't played the full backs bombing forward system for two seasons now. We now play the right back inverted into midfield, the left back makes a third centre back and a possession based game. We do still leave an extremely high line however.
I think it will be a draw unfortunately.
If Liverpool are to be taken as serious contenders, a win would be a huge step.

We also need to be able to keep hold of the ball, which Kulu does well. He shields it, he’s accurate with his touch, passing and dribbling. The ball bounces off Richy, attacks break down with him. Ange is 100% correct in only playing him as a striker to finish off chances
