Will be interesting to see how Spurs get on with a tougher set of fixtures as it can't be denied they've had an easy set to begin the season with Bournemouth and two promoted sides in Sheffield United and Burnley in their first six. They also had Fulham in the cup which they lost when they had some rotation. They'll have then had Arsenal and Liverpool in a row, a nice couple of games to get back into it with Luton and Fulham and then they've got a proper run with Chelsea, Villa, City, West Ham and Newcastle, as well as an away trip to Wolves. After those games we will see how Spurs are shaping up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would not say we've had an easy set of fixtures.

4 out of 6 have been away to start with.

I wouldnt have it much different from Liverpools to be honest.

I dont think Liverpool have really played any form teams - Chelsea dreadful, NUFC lost 3 games already, Villa have an appalling away record vs top half teams. Wolves and Bournemouth also bottom 5. West Ham at Anfield is as close as its got to a form team so far.

This will be LFCs biggest game so far, but not ours

We can both be happy with our starts and we know we have tougher games to come !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You creamed your pants over beating United yet overall they lost 6 games already this season. Talking down Newcastle? We'll see how Spurs do against them.

This game is big because Spurs good form in front of goal and Chelsea currently sheet. Probably a one off. Other than that the Chelsea game is always a bigger game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because games are played on paper.

Liverpool can join Luton and Bournemouth on the list of teams who failed to beat Chelsea so far. Big game, yes, but they've been garbage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was first game of season. No one knew if their bad form would continue.so it's easy to talk now. If we played them now we would set up differently I think.

Also a good time to play them and get a point at the Bridge. I reckon they'll be in better form by the time Spurs go there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They've been crap mate. Big game or not? What is it, 5 point from 6 games. 12th last season.

Big game for sure, but a poor team in awful form

United are similar, although a better team. Big game, big team, but we beat them so got it done

In both situations the challenge was not as big as it perhaps usually is. We got the job done, you didnt. You probably feel you should have won looking at who has since beat them.

Interested to hear what Liverpool Fans think of Spurs thuis season. Do you look at us as a rival for top 4 Or at least a side moving in the right direction ? or too early to tell ?

You guy like Ange ? I heard yesterday he's a lifelong Liverpool fan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I don't think our aim should be top four but the title so I don't see Spurs as a rival but certainly see them battling for top four. It's a breath of fresh air seeing Spurs actually playing football again and they're certainly heading in the right direction. Still think you need a top striker and a centre back, in order to consolidate top four again and push on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs will finish above Liverpool. Liverpool will struggle for top four as the season pans out. Opposition won't keep letting Liverpool off the hook like Chelsea and Newcastle did.

I think we can beat any team in the league.
Of course, you can never predict what will happen on a football pitch....like Romero's "penalty"!
But why settle for a draw .....

Spurs took four points of Chelsea last season with a poor side, so Spurs won't be fearing playing Chelsea this season. Probably beat them home and away.

I would not take a draw now if offered at all, no way, purely because 1 point at this stage of the season - and of our project in general - isn’t nearly enough of a reward to stick.

I’d rather twist and see what we get. Sure, we might lose, but Liverpool are a good team with a manager that’s been there 8 years, it’s not a big deal.. We are playing good football and trying to work out where we are as a team, it’s a great test for us after Arsenal and we should have no fear of losing as it won’t define our season either way. Ange takes a fearless approach to the game, as fans we need to adopt that mentality.

We have a better team and we just don’t lose to spurs.

I think it’s once in ten years in the league, and we’re unbeaten at their place.

Mentality spurs just shiiiit their pants when they play us.

The way they play is perfect for us and they will have a go too especially at home.

I think with our firepower up front we’ll out score most teams.

Spurs might get a few goals but I fancy us to win.

2-4 Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------

4-1 Spurs. Liverpool have ridden their luck for years against Spurs. Time for a change.

No way are Liverpool scoring four against the current Spurs defence.

If you couldn't beat Chelsea, then you ain't up to much.

Don’t forget Sandy you’re talking to Pranks, when he says “we” about Liverpool and gives it Billy Big Bollox he’s referring to a club 250 miles from where he’s from and whose ground he’s never even been to.

Some people are football men, some aren’t, and he’s not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's an understatement.

We've bedded in a new manager, changed 4 of the back 5, added a couple of 20 year olds, totally changed the midfield, sold Kane, and completely changed the way we played. Anything could have happened in that first game. Brentford have one of the best home records last season so all things considered it was a solid and encouraging start when we had absolutely no idea what to expect.

Yes we have learned that Spurs have a completely different team this season. More similar to the teams that beat Liverpool 4-0 and 4-1 in the not to distant past. Both the biggest scores between the two clubs in recent history.
