Raul starts for Fulham at home to Chelsea. 👍
good to see him getting game time
Nothing unusual about that, as he's started all the league matches for Fulham. Still hasn't scored or had an assist.
He will get a great reception from the South Bank “sorts” when Fulham come to Molineux, and rightly so.
I think virtually all Wolves fans wish him well, with the possible exception of one who would rather delight in being right about saying he’d never return to his best
Make up your mind. It's either virtually all or just me. I wished him well when he left. However, I did point out that he was a spent force despite most on here suggesting that he would be back to near his best. Some using Don Goodman as an example. Apologies for being right
nobody said he would definitely be back to his beat at all.
We all hoped he would but had our fears.
Utter rubbish as usual wolfie. Most people on here were willing and hoping Raul would get back to his best whereas you were hoping and praying he wouldn’t so you could say you were right, as demonstrated by your comments on here today. In a way i can understand you grasping on to the occasions you are right because it’s so rare you are. But it’s sad that your own ego is far more important to you than being supportive of someone that’s been so good for Wolves
not happy about renewed reports Arsenal and now Liverpool interested in Neto in January, he has always looked very committed to the Wolves cause so I am reasonably confident he will stay
If Salah goes to Saudi for the reported £250mk then Liverpool will be in for Pedro.
There’s a few predicting Neto will be tempted away in January but I don’t think he’ll leave mid season. If he maintains his current level of performances then I don’t think there’s any doubt we’ll get some sizeable offers for him next summer.
Summer signings Tom King, Santiago Bueno and Enso Gonzalez were all given a game for the u21s last night at home to Leeds together with Hodge and Fraser. Wolves won 2-0 with goals from Hubner and Chirewa. Player to watch out for in the u21s is Owen Hesketh who has been their outstanding player so far this season
Liverpool are already complaining about our valuation of Pedro claiming that we would add 20m Salah tax if they came in for him - I think the fact that his contract is till 2027 & there are 5/6 clubs interested means that the valuation should be able to be whatever we want it to be - he will go but don't think it will be this season
What about the £100mk "Salah Tax" they are charging the Saudis?
What with Jota, Neves, Nunes and now evidently Neto all leaving with a huge profit for the club, looks like wolfie was right all along again about a certain super agent having far too much influence in the clubs transfer business!!
I'm afraid you are the one with the biggest ego on here DJ. My remarks about Jimenez are based on reality and not as you put it. To be honest, I'm surprised he's still playing at this level having suffered such a bad injury. He's not only had the trauma of the head wound, but it's also affected him mentally. I wished him well when he left, but his all round performances at Fulham highlights the problems he's having still. Unlike some on here, I've seen many matches involving Fulham and it's sad to see a once talented player struggling and it's a reason he's subbed off in games.
Centre forwards are nearly always subbed off in the Premier League. Means nothing.
I think you're exaggerating the extent of the problem wolfie, do you really think that if he was having the problems you suggest he would be even allowed to be registered as a player let alone start every week? A serious head injury and eight months not being able to train properly certainly affected him but when he first came back he looked close to his old self if a little rusty. Nigging injuries slowed him down a lot and have certainly affected his confidence but he's holding a place in a Premier league starting line up he's not struggling in the way you're suggesting.
He is struggling to find some sort of form Goldie. Physically, he may pass all kinds of tests, but it's his mental attitude that, in my humble opinion, is holding him back. He's also trying to fill the void left by Mitrovic.
I've seen him play a few times and quite frankly, I feel sorry for him.
Anyone seen and heard the recording of the VARce in the Spurs Liverpool game? Absolutely incredible, the only one awake at Stockley Park and aware of what was going on was the bloke operating the technology who isn't even a referee. Certainly brings in to question other decisions if that's the level of attention they're actually paying to the game in the VAR booth. Surely has to be a debate about its future now, its been a massive failure in my view.
I've heard people say that it's confirmed far more correct decisions than the refs on the field could, but I just don't buy that. The game was perfectly fine for 150 odd years when it wasting everyone's time trying determine if a players toe (usually Pedro Neto's) was a millimetre offside because it doesn't bloody matter. It wasn't so long again that there had to be daylight between you and the defender for you to be of and everyone was OK with that. It was easy for the officials to spot and allowed a small advantage to the attacking team, which if you prefer seeing goals to free kicks in the defensive half is fine with me.
Seeing Joao Moutinho playing for Braga tonight in the champions league made me a little bit sad, not for him just that we never got to give him the send off he deserved. Great result for Braga away at Union Berlin, two down back to 2-2 grabbed a winner with seconds remaining.
yes it would have been good to have given him a send off , and I wish he could have stayed coached
Botafego we’re clear top of the Brazilian league when Bruno Lage took over as manager. Under him they won 3 games out of 10 and he has now been sacked
In his first five games on loan at Olympiakos, Podence has got 3 goals and 2 assists
Never understood the stick he got all the time.
