Agree with your comments about var oldgold. Still think the game would be better off without it altogether.
These offside decisions are sometimes right and sometimes wrong but I don’t see why we have to draw lines to see if a clear error has been made. And if a player is one inch offside does that really give them an advantage if they get away with it
Why not just scrap the offside rule altogether? Why can’t a player just stand where he wants?
Problem solved.

Never understood the stick he got all the time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I always thought he was the only one in our team that tried to make something happen. A lot of the time he gave the ball away because he was on a different wavelength to everybody else.
I never thought Podence was as talented as his fancy play tried to warrant. He would regularly give the ball away trying to play sexy back heels. I don’t think he was on a different wavelength, he just wasn’t that good. And he was always the wolves player that feigned injury the most and dived to try to win free kicks. Not something I like to see from a Wolves player. If he was still here I think he’d be way down the pecking order
Klopp asking for their game at Spurs to be replayed because a goal was wrongly disallowed by VAR. Are we going to get some replays too?
Getting on the fence here, agree with Tam entirely, he didn't always get it quite right but Podence would try something different in a team that lacked any inventiveness or creativity. With Neto fit, Cunha and a revitalised Hwang, I agree with DJ he probably wouldn't start now .
And he was a little shathouse too.
I agree he was a little shathouse. I didn't like his diving, but every team needs a player who engages in a bit of sh!thousery from time to time.
Kevin McDonald plays for Bradford City nowadays and following the sacking of Mark Hughes this week, he has been given his first managerial role as their Caretaker Manager
Seems like things have gone a little pear shaped for Romain Saiss. He spent last season at Besiktas in Turkey but then had a falling out with their coach and was transferred to one of the clubs in Qatar. But he never played a game for them because they had already reached their limit of 7 foreign players. So he is now on loan at a Saudi club
A shame to see him wasting his ability in those crap leagues, as it is for most of those stars.
A bit confusing watching Villa play their Europa opponents who are wearing a similar kit to ours
But I do get confused easily, looking forward to Sunday although early start

2pm start. Not too early
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is if you meet your mate in Spoons at 9.00am
Disappointing to read that Sasa is still thought to be some way away from being fit enough to play 90 minutes

Indeed. One could almost call it "an early start".
