Its about time that women who falsely accuse men to be hold accountable for their actions with fitting repercussions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Statistically far far women don’t get justice for the crimes committed to them by men than the other way round so while no one who falsely accuses the opposite seex should go unpunished the default setting should lean towards believe all women until the imbalance is sorted
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck if you're ever accused.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I worry far less about being falsely accused than I worry about the more likely scenario that a female family member or friend is assaulted by a man and the police can’t proceed to conviction as there’s not enough evidence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not about the probability of being accused, but rather if you would get a fair trial. You think someone should be convicted based on insufficient evidence—this is shocking.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When did I say that someone should be convicted?

By saying ‘believe all women’ I’m saying that the police default should be to properly investigate all allegations made by women and try to give them as much of the benefit of the doubt they can whereas for as long as time itself the balance has often been against women and men have gotten away with far too much.

Of course there will be a small number of women who make extremely damaging false claims but that shouldn’t derail an effort by the police to listen to women much more than they have been.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then you should have chosen your words better. The “believe all women” narrative is disturbing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How is it disturbing? It’s far more disturbing looking at the huge injustices women have faced for centuries by men getting away with rape because the power has always laid with us.

Shifting the benefit of the doubt to women is the least we can do, especially as it’s far less likely they’ll be the one lying than the man.

That's not quite what he said. Robb said 'lean towards' which drastically changes the statement.

It is always interesting to see the pro rape side's automatic response being "oh no what if someone has been falsely accused" rather than "oh no someone has potentially been raped". Weird natural position to take. But I'm anti rape so am never going to understand your point of view. You of course are welcome to your view, you are not doing any harm. Apart from huge amounts of damage to society and the way we approach rape cases.

Amad will be going out on loan in January. Apparently he was going to go out again in August but injury stopped it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Was he? I seem to recall ETH saying towards that end of last season that Amad was part of his frist team plans for this season, but perhaps that changed?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah there was talk of a few middle of the road European sides and even a return to Sunderland.

Don't forget though at this point ETH thought he'd have Antony, Sancho and even Greenwood. No long later he had none of them. 😂

Martinez out and also Reguilon. What's our defence now?

Dalot, Varane, Lindelof... It's a good job none of those are injury-prone...

Does Amrabat play full-back again? Or Lindelof at RB with Maguire coming in?

3 left backs. 1 CB now out with another only just back. Right back out for 2-3 months.

Our medical department, just like everything else, needs a massive shake up. Hopefully this new doctor from Arsenal is just the start.

BBC are saying Martinez could be out for 2/3 months, that injury in April has potentially ruined his career.

posted on 29/9/23

#mufc expect Martinez to be out for a similar period to when he fractured his metatarsal, so he’s likely to be sidelined for a couple of months.

That’s coming from the club itself, shambolic.

Probably fair, but there are just lots of injuries in general this season. Arsenal have got a few as well. Timber obviously out for most of the season; Jesus missed a few weeks; Saka and Martinelli almost certainly out this weekend; Saliba apparently has a knock... That's just off the top of my head.

Loads of high-profile injuries this season. Can't help but feel it's just the demands of the modern game.

United played the most games out of all European sides last season, it’s obviously taken a toll on them. Although it’s bad luck too, Amrabat, Regulion and Rasmus never played for us last year and they got crocked too.

We’re pretty much on the same page but I’m not entirely sure you quite comprehend how far the pendulum is weighted towards the men’s side that even by ‘believing all women’ it still will never swing back the other way so far that men suffer in the same way that women have.

There’s not some avalanche of women just waiting to make false claims on the same scale that men who actually are guilty have been so high in numbers.
