I cant really help much these days Desi.
Lots of 'new' names in the early stages of their careers and little coverage other than the highlights clips.
Several called up for international duty recently though, so there is some talent around.
Ripe for the picking, you might say
PS.
I believe Omari Kellyman's younger bro has left the club as well.

Come on Ang, get back in there. Remember the old scouting ploys. Dress up as a Lollipop lady, car park attendant, masseur, or whatever. We need your eyes-on! đ

That's what got me suspended in the first place !

Just been reading a review of Andy Hamilton's "Blue was the Colour". Basically why, after a lifetime as a Chelsea fan, he has surrendered his season ticket.
You all know the reasons (global investment etc. etc.), but I am quite happy to be snug where we are now, or thereabouts.............đ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd be reasonably (for me) happy to be in the Championship, you can keep the 3rd division thanks all the same.

Wouldn't disagree VC. But then maddened ambition takes over and thereafter anything could happen. Cautious folk we islanders.........đ§
I agree with the caution Heb. I've said many times that the Prem is a poisoned chalice.
Aye, but we have to be positive, crack on, win everything, but be mindful of the consequences...........
I wouldn't mind a cup win. Start with what I remember being the Auto windscreen trophy, move on to the Anglo Italian cup and payback to Cremonese.
Then we challenge for the League cup and by winning that we set ourselves up to be the new Seville and have strangle hold on the UEFA cup or whatever the format is now ( totally lost with that )
Finally the FA CUP which In typical Derby fashion we'll lose 7-0 to set up a new record.
Nice interview with Dajaune Brown on Rams TV and while he himself denied it there was a suggestion he may be close to a first team game. Good news!

You can't beat a good cup win...I remember the celebrations when we beat the great Man U in the Watney Cup. 1970 I think.

Alex 'Dropsy' Stepney.
What a donkey, he makes Onana look like Gordon Banks.
Thanks VC. Did they have the Offside Rule in 1970? And we may have fond and rose-tinted recollections but the overall quality of footy compared to today was abysmal....
The first round draw of the FA Cup will take place on Sunday the 15th of October on ITV 1 from 2.30pm.
The Rams will be No17 in the draw.

Thanks for that Uncle, my birthday is on the 17th so this might be a good omen. It would be nice to follow up the Watney Cup with the FA (cowards) one.

Heb have you no sense of history? That clip made me want to cry, it was fantastic to see all the Derby legends looking so young and fit. I loved Charlton, Law and Best as well.
What's the beer that's always best..Watney's Draught Red Barrel.
Was wondering when View's match thread would be coming, just realised it's International Week. God how boring. Does anyone even watch Int'l football ( when it's not tournament football) ?
Might as well get it in early happy birthday celebrations VC for Sunday!
Short answer to that Desi - no!
If you get the chance listen to today's sportscene on RD - Fletch, Robinson and a podcaster- terrific stuff!

Thanks Chicago, wasnt expecting there to be one tonight. Will get it on catch up instead of Eng v Aus
Just watched highlights of England U21 v Serbia - stunning, breathtaking. Boy do we have some young talent.
Thanks for the RD heads up.
I suspect there's quite a gulf in class between Eng U21 and Serbia U21.
But I don't want to take anything away from Lee Carsley who has done a fabulous job and will be my contender to take over from PW once we return to the Championship.
