You are so right. Correctly adjusted pyjamas are vital.

You are confusing the bedroom with the billiard room Scouse.

Really we could and should have been four up at half time. Notts were impressive in the way they moved the ball around but did little to threaten apart from defensive errors on Cashin's part, well as he otherwise played. All played well although I thought Fornah and Hourihane were a bit quiet. Nothing went right for Collo in front of goal but he really should have had two. Sibs showed what we have sometimes missed re goal threats.

As Fornah was being beaten in the second half and the Notts player surged into the box I was yelling at F, "don't tackle him" but of course he did and gave away a clear penalty. Needless and while he is a good player he is prone to rash challenges.

Even though he had next to nowt to do my MOM was Vickers just for playing.

Collo could have had 6 by now

Makes sense considering I had him as goalscorer.

Could have been worse, could have been Mrs Peacock with the lead piping in the conservatory.

Well now you know I was right about Collins. When will you realise that I am always right? Probably never as you are happy with your delusions.

What is it that you are saying you are right about, Spart?

We won. Ang fluked a prediction. Everyone's happy!

No I retired many years ago Tom. Are you unhappy that I was right, you usually are. To save you that unhappiness in future I suggest you just accept my infallibility in future.

I accept something about you but unfortunately the site won't let me put it there

You haven't clarified what it is you are claiming to be right about, Spart, other than it is something to do with Collins. It's all very cryptic. Is it a guessing game? Are you saying that you correctly guessed his star sign is Sagittarius? Fair play to you if so.

You are being deliberately obtuse. Vidal. It is probably something taught in medical school lectures on bedside manner. A bit of a change from your normal supercilious persona but not a welcome one.

posted on 11/10/23

I think it's yourself being obtuse here, Spart so I'll have to guess again. Are you saying you were correct in recalling that Collins was named League 1 player of the season in 2019 at the EFL awards after spearheading Luton to promotion with 25 goals?

posted on 11/10/23

To save this public ping pong between Spart and Vidal, Spart wanted to blow his own trumpet about how he is correct, well according to himself always correct. In this instance it was that Collins wasted several opportunities to score and didn't, something Spart has been banging on about for what feels like several years but first started only in 2022.

Forward in missed chance shock. Hold the front page. Next up, batsman misses ball and gets out. Whatever next?

From a more positive angle, fabulous contribution from Sibs for his first goal. Set up the move initially, made a pacy, incisive run while others were joggjng, and then finished with precision. The sort of quality we've been missing up front
