Absolutely,

Wonder if he’ll dive headfirst into a new career?

An unusually good bit of business from Chelsea selling him when they did

Can enjoy his donuts with pride now

Great player. Could arguably have been more ruthless if I was going to pick a flaw.

We nearly need had him and he wanted to come but we wouldn’t pay the agent fees I believe.

Things post SAF may have been slightly better if we’d signed him.

unusually good business?

Boris your ability to comment on matters you are clearly ignorant of is continuously.

Chelsea fc's record of player transfer dealings over the last 20 + years is second to none.

The issue has come since Boehly- Clearlake took over 18 months ago.

May be the previous 18 years was a bit before your time ?

KdB is a glowing example of your previous transfer dealings

great in PL, very average in la liga --- the only player with this accolade...Even Soldado was great in La Liga

Such a fantastic player to watch. It’s sad how his career ended up in Spain.

I almost applauded that league cup goal against us where he just uses his team mates for 1-2's, sat a few players down and then rifled it into the corner.

Back to the point Boris,

You suggest the Hazard deal was an unusually good bit of business from a financial perspective.

which it was, and i agree that the KdB &Salah moves were poor, but the point imo is that prior to Bohley- Clearlakes absurd last 18 months of transfer dealings, a mixed bag.

Cfc over the previous 18 years very successfully traded players as an income stream to boost the turnover.

That is not to say that they got every transaction right, but as an average the club in that period was the most successful player trader in terms of overall income, not the odd individual sale ect ect.

One of the most overrated players of his era imo.

The numbers and titles just aren’t there to justify the standing he was given.

Give me a peak Alexis Sanchez over Hazard any day of the week

Ifarka - why is it travesty....

We had him prime - rinsed him perfectly & sold him for a kings ransom

I said at the time that's a terrible posting for him....I really don't think he wanted to go

Sheriff, imo the travesty is that when considering the player he had once been (prior to joining Real ) he has now lost the appetite for the game he was so brilliantly suited to playing.

I think his early retirement is a loss to all those who enjoy the game.

I feel for him

I've just read that he was the last Chelsea player to win player of the month award

It's a loss for the game....we were so damned fortunate to have him

Regarding the move, im not sure ? through out his time at CFc it was an open fact he had ambitions to join the club of his dreams Real.
