I'm pro-Jim because he is a United fan and not just a profiteering businessman using United as a cash-cow, as the Glazers do.
It worked out well for Blackburn Rovers when lifelong fan Jack Walker bought them back in the 90's allowing ground development and the purchase of SAS.

Not saying he's not a United fan, but didn't he have a Chelsea season ticket and go to watch them a lot more often than he did United?
