I didnt expect him to challenge for the PL and CL.

I did expect after 15 months that we would -

Have an identifiable style of play.
See better performances than we have seen this season
Be better than 8th with a -2 GD after 9 games.
Have fewer major issues with the squad / first 11

United are still at the beginning of a long term project with ETH. Why would you want to cancel that and start again with sombody else.

Did anybody (except RDD) expect him to compete for the PL and CL after just one season after where the club was when he replaced Rangnick. ETH is sorting out the player power and me culture riddled throughout the club that held us back. He is spending money on his own players each window (whuch in time will make him or break him depending on how they settle) and gradually trying to either sell on or time-out the overpaid money eating and lazy time-wasters in the squad he inherited. All this takes time. As Fergie found out when he tried a culture change and overhaul at MUFC. (United dabbled with relegation in his first few years). Meanwhile ETH has already broken his trophy duck. This season seems to have obviously stalled a bit with the amount of injuries United have had which would affect any club tbf... which is limiting his ability to stamp any style and identity to his gameplay. Basically his makeshift teams are putting out fires rather than blazing a trail each week. This of course has to change as players return from injury and his new players settle in. If they dont he will be replaced one day, probably before his contract ends. But United at least will be aware that all this will take time and money. So he wont be going anywhere soon. Shame many of our 'fans' cant get their heads around this and post tripe like this article all over the internet.

I think you’re being a little generous to ETH there.

He did a very good job results wise last season. We’d all have taken 3rd with 75 points, 2 cup finals and a trophy.

We haven’t kicked on this season though and it’s the same story of winning narrowly and then losing away to anyone decent.

I know we’ve had injuries but that’s no excuse for the inability to string 3 passes together.

I don’t think for a second he should lose his job but things need to improve when players return.

Spurs absolutely dominating against Fulham, despite it only being 1-0.

Compare that with our performance vs Sheff Utd Sat night.

Shocking.
