Really warming to Gary o'Neil.

Recent results help of course.
One thing forgotten this season seems to be the Fabio saga. Seems that it is now time to give it up right? A loan in January perhaps.
To be fair I think when Fabio has come on he has done reasonably well, but the team as a whole weren't producing at the time. Now, of course, the team have had 3 good results on the trot, and even when subs had to be made Sasa has been the one to come on and, recently, to good effect.
No-one is likely to suggest changing the front 3 at the moment, and if a change was required it might well be Sasa for Cunha. So Fabio is, once again, probably 3rd choice. I still think he could still be a very valuable squad member. In a way, however, it would be great if we didn't need him, because we are doing well without him.
It’s difficult to see Fabio forcing his way into the first 11 at the moment unless we have injuries. If that does happen then he needs to make his mark as this season is likely to be his last at the club if he doesn’t climb up the pecking order. I still think he’s shown plenty of promise for his age and could well go on to have a really successful career. The Molineux crowd make clear every time he plays that they are willing him to make a success of things. But my guess is he will be looking to get away if he doesn’t make a breakthrough by May
If he’s not getting much time on the pitch by Xmas, he’ll be gone in the transfer window. Either sold or on loan.
Will he be looking to get away? Or trying to get minutes by going out on loan?
You get the impression that it's just not going to work out for Fabio at Wolves, timing has always seemed to be all wrong for him. But I maintain that the four goals he got in that debut season and his form on loan last season prove that there's a player there. He could come good yet for us, he'll want games for sure and it's up to him to take his chance when he does.
Whatever happens, I'll be one of the few to say that they saw Fabio score at Molineux
keep refreshing this fully expecting a Wolfie apology. Nada
Was listening to the e&s podcast on the flight, Liam Keane said he heard O'Neil shouting to Cunha and Hwang "we're going to a five" after the goal
Good to know I am an observant fecker Goldi.
I think one of the encouraging things about O'Neil so far is that he doesn't seem wedded to any particular formation. Willing to change to accommodate players in form and to take note of how the opposition play.
Interesting to see what he goes with today. If Bellegarde is fit he looked undroppable in his debut but has been suspended and injured since. Will he find a way to bring him back in today and change a team on a good run?
This team I reckon:
Sa
Semedo
Kilman
Dawson
Toti
Ait Nouri
Lemina
Gomes
Neto
Cunha
Hwang

I suspect this as well with the most likely alternative being either Ait-Nouri or Toti out for Bellegarde I assume.
wonder what will come first today?
The line up or Wolfies apology?
Agree with Wulfrunnut's line up. Seems like a 5 at the back game to me this one.
The chances of me giving you an apology is about the same as you ever predicting a Wolves win. Just to be clear ALL websites on the day showed three at the back, commentators said the same and I saw the friggin match. So shove your suggestion for an apology where the su.n don't shine
So just Traore for Lemina

Well the predictable Wolfie response, caught with his pants down but couldn't just own up.
But it is a fact you were wrong with your snarky comment saying ''no idea where i got a 4-4-2 from'
O'Neil stated quite clearly on MNF that he started with a 4-4-2, I watched the 'friggin match' as you did but noticed this early on
P.S. two sets of comms said a 4-4-2 as well
