There’s controversial decisions in most games and what is seen as a poor refereeing decision or Var decision of course causes upset and reaction but not crowd trouble. Might have done 30 years ago but not nowadays.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a big difference between fans seeing something in real time, half probably not seeing it fully but thinking it is incorrect or incompetence from the official; and fans having it confirmed on a big screen with the officials still not calling it correctly. There would be crowd trouble at grounds with the second scenario.
I just don’t think that’s correct. Unhappiness yes, anger yes, but I don’t see that translating to riots as you suggest
Initial reports suggest Neto will only miss the next two league games against Sheffield Utd and Spurs. Another international break follows that and it’s believed he will then be fit

Either way I think it is a possibility they just wouldn't want to open the door to.

Not just a possibility, an absolute certainty. I'm not a violent man but if I saw on the big screen some of the decisions that have gone against us this season, I'd kick off big time. Most of the other South Bank "sorts" that stand around me would do the same, straight on the pitch and attack the ref and the fourth official. Baseball bats, machetes, the lot.
Last season a Tottenham fan was banned for kicking an Arsenal player. In recent years we've had fans on the pitch in the derbies between Forest/Derby and Blues/Villa. Fans are still continually banned for abuse around the country.
Obviously there wouldn't be riots at every game or every poor decision. However, if you think there wouldn't be an increase in crowd related incidents if controversial decisions were displayed on a screen in the ground, then you are incredibly naive.
As I’ve said I disagree with you, and picking a few isolated incidents spread over a few years doesn’t change my view.
There was a very controversial incident in a highly charged game at Old Trafford last night where City were given a penalty two minutes after the game was allowed to continue. I’m sure there was anger in the ground but not the slightest sign of a riot and I don’t believe showing the incident on the screen would have changed that.
And I've said I think you're naive.
Calm down lads, it ain’t going to happen.

Right all along
Big decision for O’Neil on Saturday to decide how to replace Neto. Probably bring in Sasa with Hwang and Cunha playing either side. But that does change the way we play a bit because neither have the pace or creativity of Neto. Alternatively could bring in Bellegarde, if fit, or Sarabia.
Do think Tommy Doyle will get a start and of course he spent last season on loan at Bramall Lane so will know every blade of grass there
Don't think we're going to get away with replacing Neto with four players?
I think we'll see just one come in, Sarabia.

Great draw, well done Hwang, he is turning into a poacher.

even though according to the ex-pat "expert" he shouldn't have even been on the pitch

Those decisions always go against us. If the hold on Sasa had happened in the other penalty area, Newcastle will have been awarded a penalty and it wouldn't have been overturned.
It's ridiculous how this 50/50 decisions never go in our favour.

Other than the seven goals though, as wolfie has previously stated, what is he contributing?

nothing obviously, he's not assisting & he's giving away penalties, scoring at the right end is obviously not the way forward is it?
He did assist the winner against Bournemouth though. But other than that ...
I see the knitting circle are at full throttle this morning. At the time of my remark both Traore and Hwang in particular were having poor games. (Have you all forgotten who gave away the penalty)? Just after that Doyle came on and Hwang got his goal. Next time one of you ladies make a similar comment, you'll can be sure I'll respond.
Now all run along before you drop a stitch.
Anyone else remember when Wolfie made fun of posters who posted during matches for overreacting when things went wrong and then we subsequently got a good result?
From someone who hasn't yet predicted a Wolves win. From your predictions we'd have 4 points and be fighting relegation.

It is a prediction game. Wolves have won three times in 10 games? So predicting Wolves wins would be pretty foolish for the most part. Now they are starting to show something I may back them more.
Bit weird to knock my prediction ability though really isn't it? 5 titles combined in both prediction games speaks for itself.
But either way, you were wrong, VERY WRONG but couldn't own it. That is sad.
