Anyone else remember when Wolfie made fun of posters who posted during matches for overreacting when things went wrong and then we subsequently got a good result?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember you and others criticizing the whole team and managers in the past during matches. I merely pointed out the fact that two players were having a poor game, one of which was subbed straight after my remark and the other one gave away a needless penalty which put us 1-2 down. Glad he made amends and scored, but overall he still had a poor game.

From someone who hasn't yet predicted a Wolves win. From your predictions we'd have 4 points and be fighting relegation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a prediction game. Wolves have won three times in 10 games? So predicting Wolves wins would be pretty foolish for the most part. Now they are starting to show something I may back them more.
Bit weird to knock my prediction ability though really isn't it? 5 titles combined in both prediction games speaks for itself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Always boasting about your past achievements cinci. But really glad you MAY back the team more tho'
Maybe start with one next week against the bottom club.
By the way I still maintain we were playing three at the back for the majority of the game you lot are referring to, especially from the start. My English commentators said the same, at the time too.

So you admit your double standards.
a bit harsh to accuse hwang of giving away a needless penalty when most fair minded people , including my good self and alan shearer, have said that it was a rank bad refereeing error.
Nah, Hwang still carries most of the blame for me, the situation doesn't arise if he just deals with the ball.
On field decision was tricky to overturn as you could argue Hwangs swing of the leg did impede Scharr a little.
It was needless penalty. He had more than enough time to just clear the ball. I thought it was a bit harsh, but it wasn't overturned, so the blame goes to Hwang. Simple really Wolfgang.
I see the Florida Bowling Club are out in force this evening. 😂

To be fair to DJ, he is a bit detached from reality sitting with the rest of the "prawn sandwich" brigade!!

What does GON know tho, he's obviously not as clued up as the English Commentators who get paid to talk - not to coach or select formations
It was an interesting role given to Ait Nouri on Saturday. He wasn’t in the back line and was positioned mainly on the halfway line. The tactics seemed to be to make sure Trippier was occupied in his own half because he has been so important creatively for Newcastle when he gets forward
Great observation DJ, Tripper rarely got over the halfway line and was neutralised by Ait Nouri, something I missed at the time being an armchair supporter. Another GON excellent piece of coaching.
Like you Boston I was at the match and for a while couldn't quite understand Ait Nouri's role, was he attacking or defending?. If he was tasked with keeping Trippier in check, he did a good job, and full marks to O'Neil

GON is probably only marginally better than Mick tbh.
Way to early to call for his head but we are not going to progress much, if at all, with GON sadly.
Question is how long will we wait to pull the trigger. It really isn't that much of a stretch to see us with less than ten points going into December.
=======================================
Well, let's hope our resident doom and gloomer poster can soon agree that O'Neil is doing a pretty good job thus far AND we have 12 points AND it's not even November.
GON is indeed doing a pretty good job, despite not having the first clue what formation we’re playing. This is basic stuff and it’s worrying that he’s missing it.
As has been repeatedly alluded to on here in the past, RAN and Semedo are both better suited to playing as wing backs. Playing higher up the pitch they nullify the threats from the opposition full backs.

Good news, especially after Neves' departure, which recouped much of that money, does not, at the moment, seem to have greatly weakened the squad.
But mine wasn't a knee jerk reaction cinci. I made the remark from what I saw at the beginning of our match and to which the commentators (both former players) also saw.
