Ther Ambassador to the UN, Gilan Erden lied about what UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said. And asked him to resign. The fact they can brazenly lie like this and it taken seriously is a problem.

Meanwhile, Biden and Netanyahu saying things will never go back to what they were before the Hamas attacks. What does that mean

You are going to watch it unfold before your very eyes, as thousands upon thousands are murdered violently with your governments stamp of approval.

Anyone that speaks the truth or doesn't demonstrate absolute loyalty to Israel is immediately attacked and accused of antisemitism. Even the UN guys are being attacked. It's a tactic they are using very well.

Israel should either be suspended or entirely kicked out of the UN.

The UN is powerless without USA, UK and that little cabal. They can hardly get anything significant done without the support of those countries. They almost run the UN.

In October, Israeli authorities placed additional restrictions on freedom of movement in the occupied West Bank reportedly in response to Palestinian attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians, through sweeping and arbitrary closures that severely disrupted everyday life and amounted to unlawful collective punishment. In April, the Israeli army closed checkpoints into Jenin in a move that appeared designed to stifle Jenin’s businesses and trade with Palestinian citizens of Israel. In October, Israeli forces re-imposed a closure on Jenin and closed off Nablus for three weeks, and Shufat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem for over a week, gravely affecting the freedom of movement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians living in those areas and restricting access to medical aid and other essential services.

Israel defending itself? That was from a report written in 2022.

Don't think thats fair, Russia and China veto as many security Council resolutions as the others.

Israel are calling it a war, there are 2 sides in a war, if you want one warring side to be called terrorists then you must apply the same to the other surely?

The BBC regularly report that they are designated a terrorist group.

People say they want the BBC to report facts and remain neutral. Then when they do that, they get hammered for it.

They are a prescribed terrorist organisation, by our government. Not calling them terrorists is taking sides.

The question is whether it is the role of the BBC to define who are and aren’t terrorists. What they say in terms of Hamas, a designated terrorist organisation by the UK government is entirely reasonable. It’s important to remember that the BBC is headquartered in the UK but goes out around the world, including in countries where Hamas is not a designated terrorist organisation.

The BBC is actually carrying a mass shooting in USA as its main story over Israel/Gaza, for some reason only known to the BBC, who as ever, seem to think what happens internally in America including its weather is soooo important and facsinating to the UK population.

I’ve said this a few times, when the US elections are on they send about 30 correspondents over, anywhere else they send one and use local feeds

The BBC are a British broadcaster than provides a global service. Of course it’s going to promote global news, added to the fact they’re still going to push what gets the most clicks.

Like it or not the BBC aren’t impartial and will put the nations political power above all else.

No it's not. They are reporting that they are prescribed as terrorists by the government. Which is a fact.

Hamas also has a political wing, which has been elected in Gaza. The BBC directly calling them terrorists would be reporting an opinion that it isn't their role to give. By directly calling them that, they would be taking a side and influencing opinion.

Hamas are terrorists. It’s not up for debate or interpretation at all. The BBC has chosen many times to use this description previously with other groups but isn’t doing now. That is choosing sides.
