Good luck to Newcastle, hopefully they go on and win their first trophy for 150 years!

I live in Bournemouth and so naturally love Eddie Howe. It would be great to see him win a trophy. Gutted it's with newcastle though.

It's the league Cup FFS. Fans that want him sacked will be culpable for MUFC ultimate demise. You deserve to have continued failure at this rate. Abramovic at Chelsea was a statistical aberration. And ultimately Chelsea declined. Doesn't always work eh. Stability is key.

I’m in a weird space, as I don’t know how to handle what I’m seeing, was a bit young to remember how crap we were back int he day...

But then there’s Miami Dolphins who are lighting up the NFL. All the pundits taking great stuff about us. Top of the Division. Possible SuperBowl talk.
And yet I can comprehend, cos Miami Dolphins have never been this good in all the time I’ve supported them.

Both cancel each other out. I’m facked!!

Why was Dubravka wearing gloves tonight, were his hands cold?

Didn’t concede another in the second half at least. Baby steps.

The ownership aside, credit where credit is due, Howe has done a phenomenal job.

Change of ownership at Utd will transformative for our footy, Newcastle are a good example.

stability is key with the right manager and above that the right footballing hierarchy in the club. It's ovious we don't have the second. I'm worried we don't have the first.

Nothing about the system works. The man for man in midfield sees us get pulled apart. The opposition consistently beat our high press by hitting the opposite fullback to where the press is going.

On the ball we’re slow and ponderous. There’s no speed, verve or penetration.

If we were solid but struggling for goals… fine. It’s a start.

If we were conceding but also banging them in (like Bielsa’s man for man Leeds team)… Also fine!

But we can’t create any chances to actually score. And we can’t stop teams getting at us with ease. I’m not in favour of sacking another manager at all but ETH’s not exactly making the decision a difficult one right now.

We need to give managers one year contracts.

Is it sad that for 10 mins in the second half, we played our best football this season? I am scraping here.

What if we just signed every PL manager? That way everyone else is manager less for a bit?

We shouldn’t forget, we’ve been without Martinez, Verane, Shaw and AWB, our first choice defence,

Amrabat hasn’t had chance to bed in, Hoijlund started the season late, Mount signed after a season of injury.

Yes a lot of it is the clubs fault, but this squad is paper thin.

So why then were Newcastle able to play a recognisable style of football with 7 of their first team players out? It' definitely a reason why we are lagging behind, but the manager should still be able to coach whoever is playing into a working whole with a recognisable plan. That just isn't there.

Goal changed everything. Dalot was awful for the first two, Amrabat and defence for the second. For two of 3 goals a single player ran right through us with ease, this is a common occurrence, I have never seen this in the top flight, it is bizarre.

Exactly, radical and zesty. A new manager for every match. Maybe a roulette wheel 15 minutes before kick off to decide the next boss
