----------------------------------------------------------------------
If that was true, he'd be at arsenal by now.
The disappointment is not the defeat, not really the manner of defeat. It is the fact it was a senior team with once again no opportunities for youngsters.
At least when we weren't winning it under Wenger the likes of Fabregas and Wilshere got debuts, we smashed teams for 5 or 6, with the likes of Vela, Aliadiere and Bendtner firing.
Now it is just shiiit performances from first team players who look like they can't be bothered.

Arteta may pretend that he can do a Pep by taking every cup seriously, but we don't have the squad for it. Should have played the kids.

I don't think it's because they can't be bothered it's just that they ain't good enough. It's just ridiculous to keep seeing Havertz in that position he can't do it and Arteta keeps playing him there simply because he knows he's made a massive mistake bringing him in and his ego won't allow him to either drop him or put him somewhere in the team where he may make a contribution. Nketiah again just showing his level simply not good enough. The one I am disappointed in is Viera I thought we might be seeing the start of him coming into a bit of form earlier in the season but he just doesn't look up to it either.
How can anyone suggest Arsenal are not good enough. We are still unbeaten in the league and even over the hump of beating City.
I'm concerned about what this means for Ramsdale. Even if the goals weren't his fault I think Arteta will use this defeat as ammo to continue to overlook him, and I don't think we can rely on Raya. Ramsdale will also now have far more limited game time without this cup, and he'll start looking elsewhere. I think this match was a more crucial point than we might yet know.
The number of clean sheets Raya already has pretty much sealed it already for Ramsdale. Talk of him wanting to go.
Ramsdale gets his real chance after the international break. He will start against Brentford and hopefully Lens.
He'll start against Brentford but why Lens? Its pretty clear that he is the back up now.
Cause we should be through and Lens are shiiiit and won't touch us at the Emirates. Give Ramsdale the final two group games.
Never seen Arteta do that. It won't play to his ruthless image.
Arteta has fakked the GK position again. We let the better keeper go before with Martinez and we'll do it again with Ramsdale.
This matched proved again that many of our players are not good enough and Arteta is responsible for signing them or re-signing them.
Havertz
Jorginho
Vieira
Nketiah
Nelson
There are more but some of our fans get wet over one good performance in 10 so would get upset if other overrated players are mentioned.
We need to upgrade Arteta, seems to have a weird obsession with mediocre players and thinks they have a higher ceiling than their talent permits.
Yeah let's sack arteta. I hear emery is doing well at villa, sign him up again.
Insipid performance due to Arteta
Never seen Arteta do what? He has never had dead rubbers in the CL before He played Matty Turner in the Europa group games. He even played Runar Runar in them.

He is not for you lace Saka’s boots. Bowen needs to move to a CL club to see if he can step up
I called it in the summer but Havertz is peak Arsenal - arty farty schitt player that flatters to deceive, doesn’t effect the game.
Between him and Raya, Arteta has pizzed £100m up the wall this summer

Arteta has not helped Havertz by playing him in a ridiculous position give him a chance through the middle and see what happens. I don't think it was a good buy but Arteta has not helped Havertz at all. Raya hasn't cost anything in terms of a fee he's on loan so we can send him back if we want at the end of the season.

How does 65+3 = 100???
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Havertz is so bad you will eventually have to pay another club £32m to take him off your hands. Apologies, I thought that was obvious

Is that not a bigger worry for you, your manager has spent £65m on player but either does not know his best position or refuses to play him there

I'm fine with Raya, but Havertz was a huge, huge error of judgement. I can't understand what exactly the plan was with this signing, especially after 3 years in England where we could clearly see he was struggling at Chelsea. It was a monumental risk and one that was totally self-inflicted.
I do feel like this signing will cost us from reaching the next level. Had we spent that money on someone like Szoboszlai, Maddison, Barella etc, we'd look like a more complete outfit IMO.
