The injuries throughout the PL at the moment are insane as well now. Its not just us and Chelsea suffering anymore.
The world cup squeezed into a season last year has a lot to answer for. This new stupid rule where 10 more mins is added on every week too is crazy.
It's going to be a bad season for us. We already knew that.
Wonder if how we train/play has any link to these injuries? Not saying it does but it has in the past, I remember there being an issue under LVG.

Lots of teams are picking up injuries now though tbf. Arsenal and City have had a fair few, Spurs and Newcastle are now suffering big time and Utd n Chelsea have had it bad basically from the off.
I think the amount of football played over the last few years and proximity of each game last season is having a major impact now on the health of the players.
All so FIFA could get their payday from a corrupt nation that bribed their way to host it in the first place.
Yeah the WC and too many games clearly aren’t helping anyone.
Ah great. More injuries.
We don't play again until 25 Nov so hopefully Hojlund can make that. If not, Martial v Everton. Decent record against them.
Stop/start nature of PL football these days doesn't help because of the numerous breaks in play so the var can try and re-referee games.
Was mentioned last week on a BBC podcast during the Spurs-Chelsea game about players standing around whilst waiting for var calls.
A few minutes later Van de Venn tears his hamstring after another lengthy delay.
When players speak out about playing too many games you get some Joe Publics saying things like "Well, I play four games a week so they should be able to do it". Bet you're not a pro though Joe where just a slight drop makes a huge difference.

Very good point about those extra-extra minutes we see games run to these days. Wolves game, there were an additional 9mins played! Mind boggles! More chances of injuries etc
Eriksen will be a miss for some games. But we might score more goals if we put Rashford up front in place of the rapid Weghorst (Hafi came up with that ).
Yes, we have more football and minutes than ever, but we also have bigger squads full of better players.
It's up to managers to manage the calender.
Fifia wants an expanded Club world cup, and also the new CL format will add games. The players should just refuse to play.

Never played in the Wharfedale Triangle League have you kid?
Eriksen injury a blessing in disguise. Hes been a weakness to the team. As with everything, the best decisions are always forced on Ten Hag.
Kobbie Mainoo should be fit after international break
I play 7 games a week and these puss ies can barely play once.
Fking overpaid twaaaaattts need to hit the fking gym and bulk up. Might stop them getting injured so often.
