For some reasons, I feel this is like Boris moment when he resigned from May’s cabinet, to become Tories leader later on. It will be between her and Farage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Farage can’t even win a seat in parliament, he’s go no chance of being Conservative leader.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a Brexit party candidate maybe not, as a Tory he’ll pick a blue wall seat for an easy win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No such thing as an easy win for any Conservative seat these days. They may get 10 seats at the next election.

Yeh I will give you that. Amazing how many working class people vote Tory, when they have zero in common with the real Tories. The ones from the New Towns that were in the main built by Labour, that vote Tory, when most of them cannot even string two words together, let a lone a sentence.

Devonshire, do you seriously think the Tories have a cat in hells chance of forming the next Government? Labour may not be everyone`s choice, but the Tory Party is as good as finished. Sunak has been running away from an election. If he thought he had a chance, he would have called one. Surprised if Labour don`t come in with a 150 seat majority minimum. They will take all the so called Red seats back,. lots of the SNP in Scotland, and Libdems will decimate the Tories in the South.

I think you are probably right and of course, they have no chance whatsoever if it were called now.
But that is not to say any one is running away from an election, it's a five year term and very rarely do PMs go early and when they do its viewed cynically as opportunism.
Nothing surprises me tbh. These last 5 years have been incredibly tough, globally, and we just seem to be coming out of the other end of it. If the Tories can manage to stabilise and bring a bit more calm, then it may well be a bit closer than some expect.
The Cameron move is interesting with Braverman gone. May be not a vote winning play but certainly a shift more central.
The demise of the Tory party, torn apart by divisions, is predicted almost as regularly as they change leaders!

There is no genuine alternative but you would see their dominance watered down by other fringe parties, which opens the door for some of the more unpleasant ends of the political spectrum to gain genuine representation and the increased probability of coalition govt. None of that is attractive IMO

For some reasons, I feel this is like Boris moment when he resigned from May’s cabinet, to become Tories leader later on. It will be between her and Farage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Farage can’t even win a seat in parliament, he’s go no chance of being Conservative leader.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a Brexit party candidate maybe not, as a Tory he’ll pick a blue wall seat for an easy win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No such thing as an easy win for any Conservative seat these days. They may get 10 seats at the next election.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sadly they'll still get plenty. Never underestimate the sheer stupidity of the English public, never.

There are only 2 types of Tory, rich or stupid.
If you're not sure which one you are, look at your bank balance.

If the Government were doing even a half decent job, they'd be back in again, no issues. The fact they've been so diabolical means this should be a tap in for Labour, but they have the equivalent of Nunez up front, this could still go wide!

The games up for the Tories mate.

Labour look a shoe in right now but don’t think it will be easy. They usually implode at some point.
