I had thought earlier in the season that he seemed to have regained his confidence and his distribution had improved.
I think he's good enough to get us promoted but maybe not one to keep us progressing.
That said there's more pressing needs in our defence in my opinion.
We're wafer thin in competent cbs.

Agree mont. He did start well. And he's been ok.
He is though, a part of our weakness: the back line.
But, like everything, if we ignore the fact that he's
been very shaky at times, then we've fallen asleep.
His positioning at times is woeful. The howler he
let in against Coleman (Coleman's cross/shot) was
probably Meslier's low point. I know that was in the
past. However, he's not progressed much since.
I'll be honest, if we do get promoted and want to
stay up, we need better than him. And Darlow.
Unfortunately, Darlow is behind Meslier in quality.
So, I don't think he's the answer either. We'll just
have to hope IM's good enough to get us up.
He's recovered well since being outsted for Robbles and is absolutely fine between the sticks now. The hype has calmed down drastically and that's seemed to helped him. Grounded lad it seems.
Let’s talk about the goalkeeper, I think him being young and thrown in at the deep end at the start, I think he's done well!..
He may make the odd mistake but who doesn't?..
He has a defense infront of him and some mistakes could have been avoided with a little more help, but hey, the game is so fast mistakes will happen everywhere!..
That shot yesterday was a very well taken goal that would have taken a lot of stopping by most keepers that had have faced it!..
The main thing that annoys me about him is the time he takes coming with the ball at feet out of his area, if he was a little quicker than our press would be even quicker!..

The guy is an embarrassment to anyone who calls themselves a supporter.

Dennis, On reflection, I think you’re right …. Cretin is a bit much I suppose.
But it is really hard to come up with a word which accurately describes people like Donn and Lowfield. Unfortunately their only intention is not to ‘discuss’ but to ‘dismiss’ . The level of negativity is just not realistic so it is impossible to just accept it as an ‘opinion’…. it’s actually an unpleasantness which gets me down when I don’t want to be and I would rather not hear. No point in blocking because you still see their bile when someone comments on it.
This is harsh, but personally I’d like them removed from the site 🤷♂️

I was just going to post something similar myself. My eye caught a thread posted on the Spurs board (I think), anyway it was essentially saying that JA606 was finished as a site as Admin had failed to deal with personal insults and abuse. Not sure I’d go that far, but surely people can make the point they want without resorting to personal insults? Btw, responding to the call above to ban the likes of the Donn, the danger is that people stop offering different points of view in fear of being abused and the site becomes exactly what we don’t want - everyone always agreeing with each other. As I say, there is a happy medium and I think the Leeds JA board gets it right most of the time.

Just interested in your view … do you honestly think The Donn and Lowfields are wind-ups or do they truly believe what they’re posting? Personally, I’m not sure.
Am fairly certain they are genuine fans.

I have seen a bit of what Lowfield is about, his arguments last night were immature and what you would expect of a child not an adult whose only reason to post to object to everything, churlish to say the least.
The Donn doesn't post much but he is expressing a view, starting a debate. I have looked back at his history and he is very negative so I get the reaction.
I am not sure how The Donn can conclude it is time to give Darlow some minutes, based on what, he didn't really cover himself in glory in the cup match, obviously he is seeing something that Ed Wootten isn't.
